Okay, so someone shared a link for a site that has Buffy shooting scripts (buffyworld.com) and I looked up the one for "Tabula Rasa," and I KNEW IT! I freaking KNEW that Spike was wearing the same tweed suit!! But how could it now be in the same condition hundreds of years later and the property of some Randy dude when it belonged to William? Meh, whatever. I KNEW I recognized that suit.

Those marshmallow blob seals look like they would be super soft, like a mole (really, moles are the softest things ever).

It's from Doctor Who. They're called adipose, and they're cute, but gross. (I rhymed!)

My neighbor went to cash in a Groupon tonight at a local BBQ place and when she got there a group of people were standing outside the building yelling at the locked door. Apparently the BBQ place had sold out and this group of people were verbally assaulting the folks working there so they had to lock the doors. My neighbor had called her order in earlier in the day so she called them from her car and they told her to stay in her car and once the people started leaving they would unlock the door and let her in and when that happened some folks go back out of their cars and started yelling at my neighbor and calling her names. "Why does SHE get BBQ and WE DON'T?!?!"

What the hell? IT'S ONLY BBQ! And I got that Groupon for the same place and I'm scared to use it now! Ridiculous how people act.

Also, why can't she just be a talented artist? Why the need to push her as a beauty? Adele is an average-looking woman, but there's this need to push her as a beauty in order to compensate for the rather awful, off-base negativity about her body. Like, she's not fat and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the way she looks, but there's nothing spectacular either, and that's perfectly fine.
She is getting a lot of push all-around from the media, but I do think she's gorgeous. I think her face is just flawless.

I've managed to avoid reading/watching a lot of the stuff on her, so what I do see is refreshing. But it IS very annoying that the media and the industry in general like to oversell the heck out of the handful of people who are hot at any given time, including Rihanna and Taylor Swift. It's like they're daring us to keep liking them, even if we do to begin with.

Swift is lucky that she's young and pretty. She wouldn't have gotten so far on her vocals alone if she was a chunky 30 year old, even with her gosh-golly-gee speeches.

That's kind of the thing, though. Almost no one makes it these days on vocals alone. Certainly not Swift (who does write better lyrics than most popular acts, even if I can't stand her sound), but also almost anyone who's popular in this age. But Adele has managed to basically do just that.

Hooraaaayyyy, I has info! Thank you, wavyblonde! ITA with your last post, too.

Poor sad panda. Wait...SadPanda...I don't even watch his stuff, but I am now reminded of TGWTG through him. My brain has its own little media spikes related to things I like, and there is no way to escape those.
