I know the feeling. In Texas, if you're a Christian and you don't vote straight Republican, it's like you killed baby Jesus in utero (Jesus knows I'm being hyperbolic). People look at you like you've elected Satan to rule America and that you're the great whore of Babylon. It's really bad here. I really, really need to move to Portland one of these days.

I think the Republican party would be okay without you, nynaeve. They've got guys like this one to pick up the slack:

Had a mole removed, called for biopsy results, they asked me to come in now.

TRBL, don't worry until you have to.

Just remain calm and go it. It might be nothing. It might be something. Wait until you have a reason to go either way.

I have my fingers crossed for you.

SCG, I've always wanted to be on The Price Is Right! I can't believe she won it all!

What a lucky lady.

On a real/bummer note: Just tell her to save for the taxes on all those winnings!

I was only gone a few days and I had to read 8 pages to get caught up. Y'all should slow down!

~~~~~~~~
Ninja, I'm so very sorry. The few times I watched the news while out of town my heart was hurting for you so bad and for the families and community.
~~~~~~~~

Seattle is a pretty darn cool town, we had fun. Both times we drove through Portland we had to say "Put a bird on it!". I'm also very glad I got to see such pretty snow while we were traveling and VERY thankful we didn't have to purchase snow chains and deal with that whole 'thing'.

~~~~~~~~
I missed y'all and this nc.com community.
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Yeah, unfortunately she wasn't able to keep most of the stuff she won because of taxes, which is a total downer! But we all still think it's pretty awesome! Haha
I've always wanted to be on it, too, by the way! I used to watch it and dream of going on the show.
That sucks! But it still awesome to win! Shoot! No one can take THAT away from her!
Just Monday I was jimmying a frizbee up the chain link fence that I had thrown into the neighbors yard and it made me think of Plinko and how I wish I could be on the show and play it.
And to try to get closest to $1...
I WANT TO BE ON THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!!
Heh, Portlandia is a funny show. It's such a great spoof of Portland culture. It reminds me of the Midsummer Night's Dream issue of Sandman (in that issue, Shakespeare and his company perfom "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for the fairy court): "This is magnificent -- and it is true! It never happened; yet it is still true. What magic art is this?"--Puck
I just took these peanut butter granola bars out of the oven and have them cooling.
Next thing you know this guy shows up:
(Too slow getting to the camera to catch the face)
Coincidence?
What's an iPod?
This is definitely something my mom would say. She's never even used a computer. On the other end of the spectrum my MIL, who is very close in age to my mom, uses a computer, has a tablet, stalks us (in a good way) on facebook from her iPhone and uses an iPod. I often wonder what happened that my mom is so far behind in most everything.
