*I know it's bs, but comparing it to everything else out there, it's almost impressive.

Oh, how humanity has lowered my standards.

I'll be fine, they'll cut a chunk outta my thigh, remove a lymph node and other than lots of follow up appointments that should be it. As long as it hasn't spread.

For you sciency types (ninja) it's a malignant melanoma, superficial spreading type, Breslow depth 1.10.

The good news: I got the only A in the class on my paper (after sitting there, sweating it out, thinking I'd gotten a C).

The bad news: My professor more or less announced it to the class because she was so excited for me... Awkward glares ensued.
