I went to donate blood today but couldn't because my blood droplet floated.

Boo!!!

They always tell me that my iron is healthy, just not high enough to give blood. One time, it was exactly the minimum needed and I actually got to donate.

I haven't tried in a while - I used to try pretty often in grad school and college, since they seemed to have them on campus constantly.

I've donated twice before and the last time the droplet sank rapidly. I was thinking of getting some iron (vitamins) and going back in two weeks. My period is starting so I'm putting all the blame on that
I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

Mark's predictions are BEAUTIFUL! He's so hilariously unprepared, and do scarily accurate.
My mother s supposed t be here right now. When I spoke to her yesterday morning, she said she was running to the auto parts store and then getting on the highway. That was at 8:30 AM. Well, her little issue turned into a mess that wasn't fixed until the afternoon, so she didn't get on the road until 5 PM. She never called to tell me this. I found out from my niece at 8:30 last night. So she left at 5 and should have been here around 3 AM. It's 4 now and there's no sign of her.

She has no cell phone so I can't contact her.

My husband and I have to leave for the airport in an hour.

WTH is she? I'm terrified something horrible happened.

Well, it's 5 AM and she still isn't here yet.

She's here and safe, thank goodness. She hit some bad weather about halfway here and it slowed her down. We're taking a different flight out later today.

Now those look interesting Jeepy. I've made biscuits with sour cream and a smidge of milk that turned out pretty good. Hmmm...

Thanks, Jeepy. Sounds interesting.
Those are essentially cream biscuits with yogurt replacing the cream. I laughed at virtually fat-free. Not unless you mean low fat Greek yogurt they're not!
I guess my penance for procrastinating is that I now have no time to clean or do my paper because the kids have a full day of stuff for me to chauffeur them around. Ugh.
