OMG, forecast says 70 degrees for Tuesday. EXCITE!
I think my reluctance to acknowledge how close we are to spring has to do with how mild the winter has been. I keep dreading a sucker punch of cold weather/snow and forgetting that soon enough it will be green garlic season, and garlic chives! Ramps (which I don't love nearly as much as green garlic, but still)! Spinach! STRAWBERRIES!
bah, I'm already a cranky old lady. I get back pains and think that girls these days need to wear longer shirts.

Sorry I only kiss squirrels.

Today's whinge:

Some people at work just annoy the hell out of me. Some people here need to be fired.

The gas price thread makes me angry. Stop complaining. Your fuel is f*cking cheap. And don't give me that 'you have better roads and transport in the UK'. Roads and public transport outside London are crap so where's the money going?

I really can't wait until my coursework is done.

I don't care about some guy called Koney or Kony or whatever.

Also ALL drugs, legal or illicit, have reported side effects. Including marijuana. FFS.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.

I lost another lb! Thank God! I've been doing very low calorie + activity, and water, and limiting carbs, for over 2 weeks now. I was starting to get very angry that nothing was happening.

I'm hoping to wake up one morning 8lbs lighter

I started seeing someone I met online. Now, how the hell am I gonna answer the question of, "so, how did you guys meet?"

I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

This movement is about the cooperation of people and opening a worldwide connection between humanity for change and liberation. Honestly, if Saddam Hussein was still alive but “pretty much dead,” how would we all feel about that injustice? This movement is to show our Government that we care about the international transgressions that have been committed and even though there isn’t much we can do to prevent it, we can speak out against it.
So, it's not really about other people, but about giving you the warm fuzzies? How selfless.
Maybe it's because I finally finished White Teeth and all I can think of are the ridiculous reasons people use to cling to and separate themselves from various causes throughout the book.

That is all.

Oh, absolutely, but I find it takes a while to arrive. All those other things get here way sooner. But yeah, delicious rhubarb. *dreamy sigh*
I also look forward to the Sunnyside market once again. So calm, so little competition for the sour cherries and all the other wonderful produce that people are killing themselves for at Union Square.

I love the Boden catalog. But it's too expensive for me. They have a gorgeous model with beautiful natural curls too. Denim Mini WG422 Above Knee Skirts at Boden
i have discovered the down side to e-books; you fall in love with a book and cannot lend it to all your friends!

Cute stuff, but the good colors are all gone
I love having this kid around. I learn something new everyday!

I'm wearing flip flops when I go out today because it's supposed to be 75. Galavanting is what I'll be doing, not shopping. Or is that the same thing?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
