Well, if my friend shows up in the next five minutes I'll give her my Hunger Games books, but I'll go to work because I don't have time to wait for food and I didn't want to order for just myself. Solo dim sum is kind of pointless.
I got a gua bao at Temple Snacks and two more for co-workers.
All of which is to say that I'm hungry and cranky.

Poor Saria! That sucks.

You would've had to hold me back this morning on FB, BTW (or maybe you would've just let me go and enjoyed the carnage). My cousin's husband was being an utter asshat. He thinks that everyone should "let go" of their cultural heritage if they become American citizens like his family had to. His family, who btw, consists of Irish and English people.

When I called him on his views, he called me a naive liberal pantywaist.

Cookie dough with Andes candies chips is insane. Its all I can do to not devour the whole bowl with a wooden spoon.

I just read an article about how one can't be both French and Jewish; regarding how intolerant they French have allegedly become toward Jews (which is b.s.; they've always been anti-semitic). Anyway, my point is that such thinking, while stupid, is more widespread than we may realize.

I've been using Lafe's crystal deodorant for a few years now. I have never once managed to use one up. Instead, I've had to buy new ones after I drop one and it shatters into a million pieces. My reaction when this happens has devolved from annoyance, to anger, to pure rage...I'm pretty sure everyone with a 1/2 mile radius heard me scream, "Fuuuuuucckkk!!!" today. This is the only stuff that consistently works for me, but if I continue to use it I'll eventually suffer a rage stroke. (The roll-on version doesn't work, maybe I'll try the spray.)

I support that you not only unfriended, but blocked such an asshat. Also, pantywaist? Really?

I'm watching Giada on QVC and apparently she is under the delusion that she is the original creative mind behind chocolate and espresso in a cookie.

The spray! The spray! I know I don't shut up about it, but that's because it's awesome and oh, so exciting to have a natural deodorant that actually works. And it double as all-around odor killer!

I've always assumed that the spray would give me the same result as the roll-on, which is why I've always ignored your posts about it. I'm going to try it, though. No matter how well I sweep, I always end up stepping on a tiny piece of crystal like two weeks later.

I liked the spray, my mom stole it from me -_-

I'm currently using the roll on but it's just not as good as the spray, I need to go back it.

I got some Lafes roll-on finally and it's working really well. Thanks to you, Saria, for mentioning it here!

It really is, but it doesn't make it any less stupid. The funny thing is that he just posted pictures of himself at the St. Patrick's day parage last weekend. I'm sure if I pointed that out, he wouldn't even understand the disconnect between that and his words.

Dear Anyone-who-eats-in-restaurants:

The burden is on the customer to alert the server of any allergies or dietary preferences.

Even if you think the dish does not contain a disagreeable ingredient, please ask before you place an order, not as your meal is being set in front of you.

Thank you,

I the roll-on, too, but only for an extra layer of protection. The spray is the one I can't do without, though. And seriously, I spray clothes with it to get rid of odor, and the Diva Cup. No boiling, Lafe's completely removes any lingering odor!

This, I do not understand.

I am allergic to hazelnuts - and not even deathly allergic, I just get a really itchy mouth (though, it seems to get worse every time I accidentally ingest one, so I should probably get an epi-pen....then again, I haven't accidentally ingested one since my honeymoon nearly 6 years ago, but I digress).

If something even mentions that it has nuts in it, sometimes with dessert even if it just sounds like something that might have a nut in it, I ask if there are nuts/what kind of nut it is.

If you have an actual allergy, and aren't careful about ordering food, you really just aren't too bright.

I just spent an half an hour looking at pictures of alexander ludwig (who plays cato in the hunger games)

I figured I would share the wealth.

whenever cato would do something violent with his bare hands, I would gasp. not in a how-horrible-how-could-he-do-that way, but in an omg-you're-so-hot-i'm-single way.

look at those muscles.
