Never want to live in the UK, thanks.
In Britain you hear the following:

When it's cold- 'it's too cold, I hate British weather'

When it's warm- 'it's too hot, I hate British weather'

When it's raining- 'when will this rain stop, it's never sunny, i hate british weather'

When it's sunny- 'when will it rain, it's hasn't rained for months, i hate british weather' (months is an exaggeration, more like a week or two)

It's a temperate climate people! What do you expect?

It was hot in the October heatwave but to me 18C is not hot. But then I've lived in the tropics where 35C is average.
The warm weather one kills me because by all accounts, warm temperatures are hardly characteristic of British weather.
Also when the sun is out by default it is hot, at least where I live.

I am so sick of seeing and hearing about the Titanic. Yes it was 100 years ago this year and a tragedy but do we really need distant relatives of the dead victims talking with such authority about them when in reality they know nothing about their great uncle's aunt's nephew's life and time on the ship as it sank and it's all speculation?

Also that a really long sentence. Sorry.

Oh and a water shortage.

It's actually right around that today here in NYC. I'm in my winter coat.
It's about that here and I'm in walking shorts. :P

Sounds like most of the converstions in Massachusetts. But thats why I say, there's a reason why it's called 'New England'

Translating from Arabic to English: fun.*

Translating from English to Arabic: not fun.

* - except for names. Names are annoying, because they're not translating so much as transliterating. *headdesk*

I will never understand why people use serious invites as April Fools jokes. I have a friend that posted a pic of a positive pregnancy test and she just had a baby 2 months ago and we have a friend that told us that he is being deployed again when he just got back. That ***** is so not cool.

It's probably all in my head, but I swear my clothes look and feel nicer when there's a fresh Bounce dryer bar thingy in the dryer. Or, heck, one at all... Since the last one ran out a long time ago.

My sister texted me a number to call because her husband had been admitted to the hospital and she couldn't use her cell to call out. It was a joke.

I was so scared for her that I was shaking trying to dial the number to call and find out what had happened to her husband. I'm 3000 goddamn miles away where I can't get to any of my family if something bad happens and she thinks this is funny? I have never, ever been this angry at her. Thanks for ruining my damn night and scaring me to damn death all so you could have a laugh.

It's black rice risotto. With the starch from the rice plus how gelatinous the stock used for it was, it set up into a pretty solid sheet once it cooled. The missing corner may have been eaten by me. It's just so tasty!

Spring, I'm sorry. I just expressed my thoughts about those kinds of AFJs two posts above your post.

File this one under: The (stupid) customer is always right.

They wanted their burger on the rye bread we use for roast beef sliders. The burgers (10 oz) are way bigger than the bread. This is not a good idea!!!
