My neighbors, just 2 people, managed to have 10-12 bags of trash EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. How is that possible. 12 regular bags (and 1 recycling). What the heck are they doing in there?!?!?!?!?!

I always wonder about people like that. Or about the people out here who pay a lot for the special garbage bags one of the two local trash pickup services accept, then put them out half full or less. So wasteful.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that this is a take-home test. I love take-home tests.
But I wish some of these questions were multiple choice, so I'd at least have an idea if I was on the right track.
Unfortunately, one small mistake in stats has something of a domino effect.

It bugs me when people buy their kids expensive electronics.
Part of it's envy
Part of it is thinking, your kid is likely to smash that up or lose it - give it to me instead
Part of it is thinking that kids shouldn't have expensive electronic items and should be playing with 'traditional' toys - give it to me instead
But mainly I think it's envy.

I always wonder when I see stuff like that.
My husband and I use a bag and a half per week - one full bag from the kitchen, then another half bag that contains about one day's worth of kitchen garbage, plus everything else we threw away in the rest of the house that week (bathroom trash, paper shredder, dryer lint, etc)
Our recycling goes loose in the can, but isn't more than another half bag at most.

We have about a bag and a half a week, but I'm trying to knock it down to one bag. We have a lot of recyclables and recently started a worm compost bin (those poor worms are getting so much caffeine from coffee grounds they have big parties every night).
Most of our trash bag is probably full of Puffs tissues because I can NOT stop sneezing and sniffling.

At 3:51am some jackazz rang our damn doorbell. Scared the crap out of me and woke DH up who was desperately needing sleep last night. At least they didn't steal our Coast Guard gnome, I would have been super sad.

I'm with you curlylaura, but my issue is the bolded. It bugs me when I see very young kids with their eyes glued onto a small electronic gadget. Kids have plenty of time ahead in their lives to waste their brains and attention span. Why start them so early?
