Fire is kind of my least favorite element, though the actual martial arts style for it is beautiful to watch, and it does have the advantage of always being available. I just knew that based on my personality I'd be one or an earthbender. I think water and earth are the most useful, so I'm happy being an earthbender.

I love NC drama, but I do not like when racist, bigoted, or sexist anything gets a pass. There's a line and a difference. Let hope we can still have the wild and crazy discussions without the latter.

I know how concerned y'all are about my sunburn and all the ear peeing so I just thought I'd update to let you know now my back is peeing and itching like someone sprinkled itching powder (does that even exist??) all over me.

Oh, and I also got accepted into a Degree program for Therapeutic Recreation. I know the career path presents it's own challenge but it seems like such a perfect fit for me that I can't not be successful. Too many things have lead me here in my journey, I plan on completing it to it's fullest extent and eventually doing the 12 week practicum that qualifies me to write my NTCRC exams and work anywhere in north america.

It was in reference to how more than one poster has said that she is "dead" to them, etc.

It wasn't a board suicide in that way.

first time we had some kind of mass exodus, several of those doing the board suicide jump blamed it on me. if anyone likes, they can blame me again, but i'm pretty sure this one didn't need any assistance from yours truly...

Water is the element of change. Waterbenders deal with the flow of energy, they let their defense become their offense, turning their opponents own forces against them. Chances are you are versatile and in tune with the world around you.

I thought I'd get Water.

My optic nerve looks messed up, but is ok. The disc is just a bit small for the nerve.

I have a partial hole in my macula, which is why part of my right visual field looks like I'm looking through Vaseline. I'm still correctable to 20/30, so I just have to get it checked yearly to watch it. The surgical fix isn't worth the potential risks at present.

Thank you! I've tried unsuccessfully to get into an MOT program. This sounds like a better fir for me although the pay isn't as good. Might take a bit more effort on my part and a bit of personal growth but if I work hard, and keep learning I can eventually do contract or consulting work and make pretty decent money. Either way it's a career path I can finally be proud of.
