I've had the same two pairs of Lane Bryant jeans since Danae was one, so almost 5 years.

What are you doing in those jeans rou? I have jeans that are 5 years old or more.

Don't feel bad Rou. I have some jeans that last years and some that fall apart in no time. One brand, which looks fantastic on, gets this weird crotch situation after a year or 2. The seam starts pulling to the side.

Oh go away!! Not any of you. The phones in my office. It's been 2 days of 14 phone lines ringing non stop. Aside from medical calls, nothing major. Just whine, moan, groan, ignorance. I think I'll call 911 because my neighbor has 3 bags of trash sitting on his porch and while I'm at it, what's the number to Pizza Hut? Eeek! Just 2 more days until my week off.

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can (without cussing somebody).

Sigh. I don't even know why I continue asking this woman to refer me. She takes forever and holds me hostage when I'm on a timeline. Every other person I ask to recommend me completes the referral within 48 hours, or notifies me if they won't get a chance to do it until the weekend. She just keeps me in the dark and forces me to spam her inbox with reminders, kiss ups, and sheer desperation.

I can't think of anyone else to ask, though.

And I apologize for all my depressive and meanie posts lately. I'm so stressed out about finding a new job after I graduate. I've already been rejected for 2 internships, and I only got as far as the review process on a gov't job.

Sorry you are stressing Midgi. I hope everything works out and you don't bother me. Sometimes I need a good vent. Like one more right now -

Power Companies! They do exist. People pay a monthly bill, and should know this. They should also know not to call 911 when their power goes out. How is this not common knowledge anymore? We can't turn your power back on, and can not make the power company come faster unless priority situations apply. If you are impaired, or power lines have fallen on your house... I'm more than happy to call BUT If you are an able bodied human, call yourself. Do not call 911 and say, "Our power went out will you call the power co for me?" Or "I would call the power co myself but I cant see the numbers on my phone to dial them" (yet you managed to call us, from your cell phone, which has back lighting) or the worst, "My power is out and I did call the power company but I was put on hold so I hung up. I thought it would be better if you called for me". Oh yes. Putting a heart attack on hold to answer numerous lazy calls is better for everyone. I pray its not one of your family members holding on the other line. And during extended outages do not keep calling 911, every hour, to let us know (rather rudely) that you remain without. I know you are a tax paying citizen, but guess what? I am too, and I call the power co on the standard line when mine goes out. Why can't you?

If I could have one day where I could drop polite and say what I felt to some callers... Pure bliss!! Done now Happy thoughts.

My jeans also last many years (vigoss brand). And I'm not easy on them. The hems usually get kinda raggedy since I like them long but I don't mind that. Some of them are 'destroyed' when I buy them.

God I love this warm humid weather. Heaven.

Too bad people can't be charged with making frivolous 911 calls.

Siri types my posts for me.

Actually, they can but we typically reserve that for drunk dialers who will not give up or pass out and people who call for nothing & make threats. We have to leave the office, go visit the magistrate, take out charges, and go to court. The number of power outage calls are far too obscene to deal with. If you have a major outage, due to a storm, you're dealing with literally hundreds of calls a day/night. It's non stop. I've begged for articles addressing the situation to be printed in the local paper.

Honestly, it seems like 70% of 911 calls now are annoyances are inconveniences rather than emergencies. That or people asking for numbers because 411 costs $. I know they still teach "911 is for emergencies only" in schools. We get calls from little ones every year after they address it They are precious and curious, but grown folks... It's something else.

The wizard completely skipped you when he handed out brains. You just make yourself look more and more like an idiot every time you do something.
