True! And the stupid-question-askers get indignant when we don't jump to answer their stupid questions right away. Because why should they have to make an effort to find a solution? We should do it for them. Yes, we should, and with a smile on our faces.
... obviously one of my nerves has been touched by this issue ...

I admire the bravery of anyone who stands up for a co-worker. It is not an easy thing to do.

I don't know what those are (on my way to look it up) but it looks like cake, chocolate, and toasted coconut so it sounds good for any time of day!
It's sponge cake! Even better!

Heh, normally yes, but I actually made these with a very tender and moist butter cake. They are melt-in-your mouth good.

One of my FB friends has a huge cat and I don't know why I'm so tickled at the sight of a big, fat cat, but I am.

So, I guess I'm supposed to be excited about graduating tomorrow, but I could really give a sh--.
The past four years of my life have been the worst and moving here was the biggest mistake of all. I am so sick and tired of life, and nothing ever going right, and always being in pain. I have one fantastic day and whole month of straight up BS. I'm so tired of everything. I feel like my life is just being wasted, and there's nothing I can do about it right now. I always have to wait. There's always circumstances beyond my control. There's always some line I have to wait in and rules to follow and bureaucracy to go through. I'm sick of it.
P.S. I love Lamingtons.

LAMINGTONS!!!!
I have failed every time I've tried to make lamingtons here in the States. I think the desiccated coconut is different here than in Australia.
ETA: totally appropriate for breakfast. Even more appropriate for morning tea

Oh, iPhone, you're confused again!
Divegirl, sweetened coconut is more common in the US, but unsweetened isn't that hard to find these days, and it's what I use (and the type needed for lamingtons), both in shredded and flaked form.
