So I just finished my last paper for my class! Huzzah!

My toe however is still swollen and tender. I still don't know if its infected and I don't know if you can develop an ingrown at the base of the toenail. I'll give it a couple more days I guess.

no wonder the defence didn't put him on the stand; they could have brought most of it in...

the judge was pretty clear in his charge to the jury and the Criminal Code of Canada (yes, it's uniform across our country) explicitly states that a death that occurs during kidnapping is first degree murder. i can't see too many other verdicts coming back, though the judge did say they could find him guilty of second degree or manslaughter, too.

we'll see... deliberations start again at 9:00 am.

Thanks, y'all. My grandpa was 94 and he died in his sleep. I think it was just his time, and it was the most peaceful way to go. DH and I talked last night and I don't think he was trying to be a dolt, it just came out wrong.

Well, since I didn't want a kilo of Icoa, I got some Domori natural cocoa to try out. It's got a 22-24% fat content! I was going to make do with just my stash of Pernigotti, but sometimes Dutch-processed cocoa just won't do. Gotta have a natural cocoa and a Dutch-processed one!
With that richness, I bet the Domori makes an excellent cup of hot cocoa as well.
