I love the way my pajamas smell immediately after I shower and moisturize. The scents sink into the clothes, and they end up smelling yum until the next wash.

sarah42- I'm sorry about your grandpa (and your inconsiderate hubby) ((hugs))

----------------------------
I feel sorry for the OBSorry guy that his claim to fame was a tampon spoof. I wonder if he gets paid per video.

-----------------------

So I just finished my last paper for my class! Huzzah!

My toe however is still swollen and tender. I still don't know if its infected and I don't know if you can develop an ingrown at the base of the toenail. I'll give it a couple more days I guess.

Ninja didn't get banned; she took a hiatus and came back under a new screen name. Wile got banned about 2 weeks ago, I think.

Sarah42, I am very sorry for your loss

Yay, Rou! I bet you're excited about that.

OBB, sorry it's been pouring. Hope the sun comes out soon.

Almost $500 spent on the car today. Gag. At least it's completely serviced now, and has 2 new shoes.

O.B. Triple Sorry
Well, I guess I'm easily amused too. I laughed out loud! Loved it. And that will probably be the first and last time I ever see my name in a tattoo. Hee
Same here. On the very rare occasion that I do find my name, it's not spelled the way I spell it.

That sounds like the sort of dumb thing my husband would say, too. He probably would mean, "Did a particular memory make you feel sad at this particular instant?" but it would come as your husband said it. However, I'd be peeved too, because what kind of dumb thing is THAT to say?

Dudes.
My husband might do the same as well.

(((sarah))). So sorry for your loss.

I always have to laugh at this from the Department of Health:

Did I shower or take a bath before coming to work?

OMG. Dying.

I just showed my bf the OBSorry song, and throughout the whole thing he kept saying, "Who is this guy?" and "I don't wanna see something your ex boyfriend sent you."

That was awesome!

Boo, I decided to get some Michel Cluizel for my mother, and I figured I might as well order some of El Rey's Icoa, but they're still out of stock for bars and I kind of don't want a kilo of it.

holey moley, the stuff the jury didn't get to see/hear in THAT trial!!!!

no wonder the defence didn't put him on the stand; they could have brought most of it in...

the judge was pretty clear in his charge to the jury and the Criminal Code of Canada (yes, it's uniform across our country) explicitly states that a death that occurs during kidnapping is first degree murder. i can't see too many other verdicts coming back, though the judge did say they could find him guilty of second degree or manslaughter, too.

we'll see... deliberations start again at 9:00 am.

Thanks, y'all. My grandpa was 94 and he died in his sleep. I think it was just his time, and it was the most peaceful way to go. DH and I talked last night and I don't think he was trying to be a dolt, it just came out wrong.

So sorry Sarah - I hope you're logically able to talk yourself into not being as sad (that seems what you were doing there ) - it did actually help me when I lost my grandparents to know they'd had long lives and were ok with going, but still... it hurts. And we're here for you.

I have been super lucky in my life, and am thankful for all I have. I think that's why good news from friends makes me even happier than good news in my own life. Today's a good news kind of day.

Well, since I didn't want a kilo of Icoa, I got some Domori natural cocoa to try out. It's got a 22-24% fat content! I was going to make do with just my stash of Pernigotti, but sometimes Dutch-processed cocoa just won't do. Gotta have a natural cocoa and a Dutch-processed one!
With that richness, I bet the Domori makes an excellent cup of hot cocoa as well.

It's May, 65 degrees out, and the heat is on. What is wrong with my landlord and where is this heat when I need it in January?

And again I laugh:

Also, the accompanying photo is far too cute and small a representation of these horrid beasts.
