I saw a deleted scene from the movie when I was searching for an Avatar scene. It was simultaneously one of the most laughable and painful things I've ever seen.

We have moved and unpacked and settled in to our new house!! I'm ecstatic! Finally, I have enough space and closets to put everything. The house looks wonderful! And we are not hoarders with tons of stuff, it was just that the old place was like 1100 sq ft, which was too small for my family of 4 people. It's so nice to have more than one bathroom.

And, I heard on the news that the day after we moved, there was a shooting outside our old house. (No one was injured, luckily.) Size isn't the only reason we needed to move.

I drove down the coast from San Francisco this weekend. It was awesome. Gorgeous coastline! First time I had seen the drive from the 1.

We stopped at Pie Ranch on the way and got a strawberry rhubarb pie. A first encounter with rhubarb for the both of us. We LOVED IT!!!

And she has figured out the beauty of bacon. Finally.

I have to use this white cream on my face today and also I have these horrible brown patches. Fortunately, my boss is away, otherwise I think I would take a sick day just to avoid being seen this way.

In a few days I will be fine but meanwhile I look weird. (Of course in NYC we see it all, so by NYC standards it's nothing.) I'm nervous about being at work - people will think I have leprosy or something. It's not contagious or anything like that.
