Say It. I Dare You.

I went bridesmaid dress shopping for a friend's wedding yesterday and told the bride's mom that I will happily wear anything the bride wants (the other girls are being pretty specific!)

The bride's mom said, "Well, you're a great bridesmaid! But it doesn't hurt that you also have a perfect body and can look great in anything!"

Is it disrespectful that I responded by laughing in her face?

To the home wrecker for hire in my office that's been opening peoples insurance/certification letters, putting the letters along with things of her own in other peoples boxes, and then going to the boss telling him someone is stealing things out of her box...

You're no where near as smart as you think, baby girl. A rock remains 2 steps ahead of you, at all times. And please keep refusing to use the term hearing impaired and spelling deaf as death for further proof of this. Several documents saying, "Little death child, playing in the road" will be highly beneficial in court. Take your fake little girl voice ("I don't know") and go back to West Palm. We're entirely too sick of hearing how much better and smarter people are there anyway.

Those dolls look malevolent. I think they are plotting something.

It's just that it's just money. I can't be bothered to nickel and dime people, especially friends and family.

Le sigh. Rude pole-hogger on crowded train:

My balance is pretty awesome, so I can go a whole ride without holding on to anything, but I swear I'm totally cool with plowing my hand right into her back if I should find myself needing to grab on to something.

it is WAY too hot out there for May!

and since i'm not tall enough to put up the board for my misting system and patio canopy, my very nice neighbour next door said he would do it for me. i only have a step-ladder that won't lift me high enough, but he's tall. he and his girlfriend are out for the day, but he promised to do it when they get home; by then it should be shady enough on this side of the house it won't kill him in the process!

i've stained both pieces of lumber with hunter green stain; then put coat after coat of clear, waterproof varnish over that. good thing it wasn't as hot yesterday, since it wouldn't dry in this weather!

i just have to put the eye bolts in and add the hooks for the misting system, then Jamie will put up the brackets for the piece and put it in place for me.

Yes, I sing Barely Breathing all the time.

I don't care if it sounds like 1997 or whatever. That was my jam.

I am totally downloading songs that I like as they come up on this 90s song special on VH1. LOL

I forgot all about The Cranberries, and I don't want to forget them.

Now they're playing Closing Time. I love that song. Even though they play it all ironically on The Office now.
