So, I'm grading my last few papers for the school year, and I came across this gem of a sentence (in a paper about brown bears): "Because they are large mammals, they can eat upto ninety pounds of food in a day for wine hibernation."
What is wine hibernation, and where do I sign up?

Only French bears choose wine hibernation. It mostly happens in Montreal and Quebec, I understand.

So American bears must prefer beer hibernation, then?

So my mom left yesterday. She was here a week. It wasn't so bad this time. But I'm drained. I'm glad to have my house back to normal.
I'm trying to relax. Its harder than you'd think.

I just realized I don't have to go to the grocery store today and I'm so jubilant about it.
Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow. Amen.

I'm going to a thing tonight where I'd planned on bringing homemade cookies. I am now remembering I don't really like most of the people who will be there and feel that I'll be wasting my delicious cookies on them. Of course, I will still bring them, but I will leave some at home and run out early at the event.

Sure. And they hate missing football season, but what can they do? They settle for a football team named after their species, and dream of Mike Ditka.

Watching "What's your number" made me realise that I *still* think Chris Evans is really hot. I thought he was sexy back in FF4, meh in the Avengers, but lard!!!!!

Someone in the cinema said something really funny during that scene so I was busy laughing *my* ass off.
Wonder if I can find a video on youtube.....

note to self: bring reading glasses to the market at lunch.
i thought i was picking up a packet of ranch dressing for my salad and it turned out to be french dressing... while i don't really like french dressing, i will eat it since i already started pouring it on the salad.

You are a smart woman. I, on the other hand....not so much. Took my car in this morning for maintenance and state inspection, ran a bunch of other errands, then decided to stop for lunch before finishing up at the grocery store. Just looked up from my sammich to see that it's a monsoon outside. AND it just thundered. Loudly. Boo. I could just stay here in Chick-fil-A and stuff my face rather than go grocery shopping in the rain.

I feel like I get nothing accomplished but laundry, and washing my hair. My life is an excuse to get out of a date.
