I am sick of my neighbors. They have a 2 year old that screams constantly. A dog that barks incessantly, and the husband has a constant smokers cough.

I'm going away for the weekend. Thank you.

I am overjoyed that I have this weekend off. I can't wait to attend my friends (the grill master) yearly cookout, have a few drinks, and chillax.

Saria & Rouquinne-

I finally gave in and bought the Ellis Faas Milky L201 Ellis Red lip color. I think the color is fabulous and the formula feels moisturizing. It comes in a cool, silver, bullet-shaped tube, and it truly looks like blood the first time you twist the cap and it creeps up over the bristles. I do think that it could be pretty close to a universal shade. Overall I love it! Only complaint is that it doesn't have the best lasting power, but I'm cool with reapplying every now and again.

OMG, it looks amazing! I am so jealous of women who rock the red lipstick. Maybe I should check that out even though my skin tone is different from yours.
Also, how cute are you?! So pretty!

We often get teens coming in being useless. Eating all the samples, playing in the bathrooms, stealing stuff. Etc.

Two come in tonight. The eat the whole sample tray and proceed to play with the riding cart.

After getting sick of hearing it beep from backing up, I ask the girl to please not play with the cart.

She responds that she is handicapped, which is bs.

I said that it was only for physical handicaps.

It took her a few minutes to get it, but some customers chuckled and said that they were thinking the same thing.

RB, that lip color is gorgeous on you and you're just entirely too adorable!!!

RCC, that is by far the funniest thing I have read in a while. I LOL'd and made the dog jump! Awesome response.

Rubber Biscuit, you are super pretty and that lipstick looks great on you!

Great comeback, RCC. You're quick on the uptake.

As for me, I just got back to my wonderful new house after a work trip. The trip was very successful, but I'm so glad to be back. There's a bottle of wine in the kitchen with my name on it. And, my 5-year-old had his first t-ball practice this evening. He has a team t-shirt and hat and baseball pants and glove! Too cute!

So happy to see how close this is:

Amazon.com: Small Plates and Sweet Treats: My Family's Journey to Gluten-Free Cooking, from the Creator of Cannelle et Vanille (9780316187459): Aran Goyoaga: Books

I do have to laugh about all the descriptions about the simplicity of Aran's food. Yeah, maybe her savory stuff and her more recent stuff, but Aran started off doing very complex desserts. Her pastry skills are amazing.
Even now that her food is "simple", it's such beautifully presented, thoughtful, and enticing food.

Unless things change dramatically, these are the colleges I'm applying to in the fall:

UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly, U of Puget Sound, U of Vermont, Lewis and Clark College, and Northeastern. Also possibly (because clearly I don't have enough already... my parents might kill me over these application fees) Sonoma State, Brandeis, BU, and Clark University.

Hropkey, if you go to Sonoma state we'll practically be neighbors, it's right around the corner.

Good luck getting the one you want!

11pm and you are still building your deck

Do you not realize that people are trying to sleep?

Why are you so ignorant?

Oh well. At least you stopped using the saw at 10:30pm.

Inconsiderate people like you really aren't meant for apartment living.

Karma? Are you out there?
