So someone replaced butter with margarine in a cookie recipe then complained that the recipe made for salty cookies. Le sigh.
Which reminds me that I think a big part of why some people get scandalized about salt is that they make stuff with canned soup, soup packets, etc., which pretty much take care of the salt, so seeing just plain old salt being used is shocking and they swear it's too much.

Update on last night's Wii tennis match:
When the power came back on, our game was lost. By that time my son wanted to join in. So, it was my son against hubby and myself. We were beaten to smithereens. It was embarrassing, really.

LOL
It was pretty funny, actually. The match was over fairly quickly and at the very end, hubby and I stared at each other in utter disbelief.
Obviously, I'm not as good as I thought I was!

Hee! One time a bunch of family members were playing Wii bowling. All of us were super serious with our form and stuff, and an 8 year old cousin, recently moved to the U.S. and never bowled or seen a video game in her life, scored strike after strike.
It was a humbling experience.

LOL ^^ That's so true! My son gets all goofy and stuff and will throw the ball while facing backwards. Most times, he gets a strike!

What a happy afternoon! A nice drive in the pouring rain to the hair salon, only to find that they're closed, due to a power outage, and were unable to alert anyone. So now the onus is on us to reschedule.
Trouble is, I had rearranged the day to suit my stylist's pre-vacation schedule. Looks like I'll be wearing a Farrah for a few weeks. Joy!

Why is it pouring? Does the weather not understand that I have to finish moving? We haven't even moved the bed from our old place to the new one -_-

I hate that I don't have a car and have to rely on everyone. Especially when someone says we'll go somewhere, then takes it back, and now I can't do what I need to do. Grrrr. It's even more frustrating on Fri and Sat when SO works the late shift.

What a day. It started in the tub and it ends in the tub.

I am taking B to the airport tomorrow. Have to leave the house at 2:30 am. Yep am!! The darn flights overseas leave so freaking early. Even with that I do not think he gets there until Sunday our time. I think I would go crazy on a plane if I had to be on it longer than 5 hours!! He is on a plane for over 15 hours!!! I would be stabbing people.

I actually managed to get many things accomplished today, and dance while doing most of it. Double pleased.
