I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Toothache!! Make it stop.

Between a thunderstorm earlier today, and fireworks tonight... My dog was one big ball of nerves today!

He was so freaked out he wouldn't even get on my bed. He was curled up in a pitiful little ball (and he's not a small dog!) on the floor next to it, instead!

I haven't been subscribed to military.com for ages. Maybe I should. Are there deals for dependent IDs? Sometimes they are only for active members and seeing as how I'm only a dependent it doesn't help. Trying to explain that my sponsor is deceased doesn't always work

jess, surely there are deals for dependent ID's as well. If it's something like the one I linked too most of the time you could call ahead to see.

Everyone I know is all hyped up on the Hatfields and McCoys show and all they do is fight and kill each other.
I just want to do what I want to do when I want to do it.

Well, I'm thinking it's a good day for a six mile walk.

As for the food, let me go through this is order.

-Salmon and tuna tartare with avocado cream.

-Barbecue chicken potstickers

-Beer-battered halibut chops

-Braised sweet soy lamb chops (really good even for someone who doesn't love lamb like me)

-Smoked and grilled "Buffalo" chicken lollipops

-Clams with merguez, tomatoes, and pea greens

-Potato gnocchi with sweet corn, mushrooms, and ham hocks (really great tender gnocchi)

-Octopus salad with olives, fingerling potatoes, preserved lemon, and watercress (love octopus, and this was so good)

-Watermelon gazpacho with basil oil

-And the s'mores in a crock, which was really tasty

I'm so glad I got to meet up with xcptnl! She's super cute and sweet.
We went to a jeans store and if I should ever come into boatloads of money, I'll buy her all the colored jeans she'd like.
Oh, the lamb was awesome! I did not try the octopus. I know I should have but not a huge fan. The halibut was yummy too. The s'more in a crock was TASTY.

And we went by a bakery/cupcake store-I so should have bought one and took a pic of Saria chowing it down

I am still full.

I head back into Boston this afternoon to pick up B!! Trying to decide if I should go in early and do some window shopping or not....

misspam, I just started the 30 day shred again...but I'm eating dirty.

(I've had WAY too much coffee today y'all so I apologize now for excess exclamation points and useless rambling...)
(wait, is this any different than when I haven't had too much coffee??)
(never mind, don't answer that)

It is weird. I love mussels, steamers, fried clams but I am not a fan of calamari or octopus.
