I thought I was the only person in the world who didn't love this show. I didn't watch past the first night. I love Kevin Costner and I love the whole story but didn't like the show at all.
My brother was talking about this. I had not heard of it. Is it a series? Or is it the 'real' people?

The hardest part of making pie dough is waiting at least two hours for it to chill.

As for the food, let me go through this is order.

-Salmon and tuna tartare with avocado cream.

-Barbecue chicken potstickers

-Beer-battered halibut chops

-Braised sweet soy lamb chops (really good even for someone who doesn't love lamb like me)

-Smoked and grilled "Buffalo" chicken lollipops

-Clams with merguez, tomatoes, and pea greens

-Potato gnocchi with sweet corn, mushrooms, and ham hocks (really great tender gnocchi)

-Octopus salad with olives, fingerling potatoes, preserved lemon, and watercress (love octopus, and this was so good)

-Watermelon gazpacho with basil oil

-And the s'mores in a crock, which was really tasty

I'm so glad I got to meet up with xcptnl! She's super cute and sweet.
We went to a jeans store and if I should ever come into boatloads of money, I'll buy her all the colored jeans she'd like.
Oh my. I would love all of this. I would be embarrassed to eat fancy food with saria tho, because I wouldn't know how you're supposed to eat things like that. Fingers? Fork? Which fork? Spoon? Together? Separate? Dunk it in a sauce?
But my mouth is watering.

It was a 3 part mini-series. I think it was produced by Kevin Costner in addition to him acting in it. Had a good cast, I just didn't like the way it was done. I'm sure you can find it online somewhere.

I have a bunch of favorites for dresses on ShopStyle, but I know I'm not going to end up getting anything. As long as sites charge for shipping, I just can't bring myself to order clothes online.
Part of the beauty of Endless is that I can order shoes without worrying that it's going to cost me anything, whether I like them and keep them or whether I don't and return them.
Same thing if I order a coat from Nau. More sites should do the same.

I love all souffles, though savory souffles are my favorite. I like to bake them in wider, shallower dishes because the crust that forms is one of best parts of a souffle!
I also love sweet cheese souffles. I have some leftover farmers' cheese and I think I'm going to make some sweet souffle with it. Just want to get some berries to go with it and I'll be set.

First impression of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is that Mustang and the rest were way better-looking in the original anime. Yup, Hughes was hotter before. I appreciated the taller characters. Plus I liked the bad-ass introduction for his character much more. He's still adorable, though.
Also, the exposition feels even more heavy-handed.
But the music is still awesome.

What happened? The commercials for the Stakes have been running non-stop for the last week.

On my way downtown. CCDs in five hours!

ETA. The bus line was so busy, the driver waved me on for free. Sweet!

Siri types my posts for me.
