Here's our new little family addition. She is the cutest thing ever. Oh my gosh we love her.

Her name is bunny.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Don't set the loose money near the window, lol.

RCC I was secretly hoping you'd stick with Mystery if it was a girl.

we don't get that many fireflies here because i live right downtown in the city.

and, as strange as this is going to sound to a lot of people, i had never seen a firefly in person in my life until i moved here 6 years ago. i had always lived too far north for them.

I thought there was a lit cig burning right by my neighbors porch. I was contemplating going over there to put it out before something caught fire when it moved. It was a firefly and I was so embarrassed for myself.

In other embarrassing news I went to my friends house after work yesterday and after about an hour I started getting this horrible pain in my ear. I thought maybe I got water in it from my shower or it was allergies. Then the other one started hurting. I decided to go home for fear I was coming down with something and didn't want to give it to the baby. I got in the car, took my sunglasses off the top of my head and 30sec later the pain went away. The arms of my glasses must have been squishing something.....Le sigh
Good things to know.

I've been using that pine litter that we have at Trader Joe's, and it hasn't been tracking. I was unsure about the stuff, but it was at work and easiest to buy. Kitty doesn't mind, so I'll probably stick with it. The furry toes are sort of cute, though they remind me of claws sticking out.

I'll have a look for those scissors. I clipped off some burrs with regular scissors, but left the mats alone since they went pretty deep.

If it's a girl, I'm going to stick with Mystery as a name. If it's a boy, he'll be Wentworth (like Captain Wentworth). He has this posture where he crosses his front paws in such a gentlemanly manner.

So B got invited to play golf tomorrow (in CT at Foxwoods). He called me when he got invited and asked if I wanted to go and hang out at the casino while he played golf. At the time it sounded like a good idea. Now I am thinking I do not want to. Since we will not be spending the time together I hope he does not feel bad if I tell him I would rather not now. I know he asked me because he did not want me to feel like he was ditching me (which is sweet) on the weekend and I do like the casino (but more so in 'bad' weather). But the weather is supposed to be nice and one of my farmers market is opening up tomorrow.

And we are going to a new outlet area and a barbeque festival type thing today so we will be doing something fun together today.

Now that I have analyzed it all out-I am good.

But I think it can be corrected if the person is openminded to it, esp with a friendly cat.
