Springy, I hope you feel better. I've been feeling 'off' myself, for days. It's getting old.

Sorry iroc. It sucks when people won't let you forget.

So I just found out my ex is getting married. He was a jerk, who after 7 years of knowing him, and 8 months of dating him, ruined any belief I had of him being a good person. BUT I still don't know how I feel about this. Why?My stupid, stupid heart. That's why. Oh well. After knowing her a grand total of 7 months, she's now pregnant. Thats the same thing he did with his first wife, 9 years ago. Good luck with that. <- and pardon the bitter moment. i needed that.

I know it sounds weird that my ex built my entire apartment from scratch of his own good will. Meaning he came over after work and spent 24 hours assembling Ikea furniture for me by himself. He didn't have to, it's hard not to love him a little after that but it doesn't mean anything. I swear.

Fifi, thanks and I hope you feel better soon. "Off" is exactly it, I've definitely had better days. I think it was a combo of waiting too long to eat and being out in the heat.

The fact that the people bought the piece of furniture, they were super nice, AND they didn't haggle made me feel a little better. One more piece left and we have our garage back!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
i took the lavender one - i thought it would go better with the navy skirt and cream top.

i ended up staying much longer than i thought i would; mainly because it clouded over and the wind picked up ahead of some rain we're expecting tonight.

now i need a martini!

To the lady at the grocery store who walked into it....sorry! Didn't know you were behind me....beer farts....
Springy: get well, get well soon, we wish you to get well!

I don't have the accompanying cake, but here's some pain d'epice cookies:

It seemed to annoy my mother to see me dip cookie after after cookie and then cement a piece of candied peel on each one.
But she seemed to really like eating them! And with these I have just a little more rye flour to go in the quest to use my wholegrain flours up!

to go with the cookies....who is bringing the mugs?
Now we'll just get her that cute cushion so she can put her feet up and relax.
We're finally getting a Trader Joe's in our city next year, but after just seeing the "store-bought cookies" thread, I can already tell I'm going to be in trouble, huge trouble, HUGE!

I just watched Glass Walls on meat.org.

I think I'm going to go vomit, and then clean all the chicken and bacon out of my fridge.

Thanks Spring. After all the bakery/baked goods talk, I decided to do a little digging. Several bakeries in my area shut down, but look what I found This woman runs a small bakery from her home and offers cake decorating classes.

How cute is the sock monkey? And the caramel dream cupcakes... Hold me back!

I've never seen that one! I've watched Meet Your Meat, narrated by Alec Baldwin. I'm guessing it's the same thing. Ughhhhh. It does make you really really sick.

I think I am deathly afraid of her. Seriously. How could you even try to be her friend? They are extememly unlikable. Not sure how I made it through so many episodes.

I should have. Wish I had known better. Luckily my kids came home with new Skylanders so I got excited and we started playing. Yep, I play kid video games

I like this Mrs. Eastwood reality show! They're a nice family. I like how close they all are and how she doesn't treat her stepdaughter any differently than her biological daughter and how thrifty she is. And when she gets very angry, she says "EFFING!" which is what I do. She's so pretty, too!

*sigh* I want to be tipsy. But, alas, I won't become so because of obvious reasons. Darn being responsible.
These are all wrong, gross, awkward, and stabbiness-inducing:

You know now, Jess. That's what matters most And I get it. I'm a all kinds of gamer, since age 4. I can not count the hours lost playing video games with my nephews & nieces. I won't try to fathom the hours lost playing my games.

I cannot hear or watch the Les Miserables trailer without tearing up. The way Anne Hathaway sings in it is just very....real.
