My sister hates to read. I think in the last 30 years she has read maybe 5 books, all borrowed from me. Pet Cemetery and some books about serial killers. She just doesn't like to read.
I love to read. So I win!
But oh shoot, I married young and my sister didn't so I guess we are even.
Damn rules anyway.

Why do I feel like I have achieved next tpo nothing, while on paper it looks like a lot?

Am i also wrong for thinking that 26 is old? I feel like I'm still waiting to start my life. Maybe this is because I still live and home and don't have a permanent job. I am looking at another two years in grad school which is pushing me a year back from what I had imagined for myself when I was younger, but one year isn't too bad right? Plus, I'll get to meet some great persons while I'm at grad school, oh, how I hope so.

I am in so much pain right now. I really wish I had a man to take care of me there is no way I can take care of myself if I have to have another surgery.

Please get better and I hope I don't ever need to get a bag

I have no choice but to go to work but I am in so much pain I can barely stand up straight! I haven't had any breakfast or coffee yet, I hope my manager at least let's me leave to go grab something once I start feeling better.

Countdown to party:six hours.

Countdown to time when party will be over (at least for me): ten hours.

Countdown to not having to dread attending party: ten point five hours.

Ticktickticktick........

Thanks. I ended up calling in sick. I can barely move let alone run up and down stairs and plaster a smile on my face.

I'm calling my GI's office on Monday.

I was supposed to go on a pub crawl tonight was super excited. I hope he sells my ticket so I can get my money back.

A local furniture company used to advertise the whole suite for about $600 - $700 (this was about 10 - 15 years ago).

When I first saw their ad, I laughed and laughed. I wondered if people were actually buying the horrid stuff.

Just thinking of this furniture has always made me giggle and now I have a picture of it.

I don't know what your illness is and don't want to ask, but I have UC. I've had long periods of remission. Now I'm not. It's very painful. I just wanted to say I can relate to no longer being in remission and the fear or frustration that goes along with that. I really hope you feel better soon!

IBD sucks!!

We go to the laundromat sometimes. We both have a laundry in our buildings, but there are just two regular-sized machines and it's much faster to throw everything into a high-capacity machine in one go. We walk down the street to a favorite restaurant for brunch during the washing and drying.

Nothing of ours has ever been stolen, but one time someone was posting signs because someone stole a sleeping bag they were washing. They had borrowed it and it was a fairly expensive item, I guess. It gave me pause, but then I thought if anyone wanted my crappy clothes, they could have 'em. Anything nice I would hand wash or have dry cleaned anyway.
