I didn't even know til reading about it here that there were storms all over the darn place last night! We didn't get a thing here. Hope everyone's power is back on soon.

Did scrills have her hair appointment yet?

What did Jessica Simpson do to her face? She looks like a different person. Must have gone to the same face-changer her sister went to. Now neither one of them has anything distinctive or interesting about them.

Thank you new Voodoo brewery/bar/restaurant for opening a block away from my house, using reclaimed/recycled materials in your building, using local supplies/ingredients, serving fantastic milkshakes made with local ice cream (hey, not everyone wants to drink strong beer all night long. that milkshake was GOOD!), for having some of the hunkiest friendliest bartenders I've ever met, and most of all for refusing to have any TVs in the place. It was great!

I discovered that I had 6 credits to use up at Audible.com, so I succumbed to the hype and downloaded the first 50 Shades of Grey book.

I am sad, scared, and slightly embarrassed for "the America" that THIS is the novel that has everybody up in arms.

This drivel makes the Danielle Steele novels I was reading in Jr high look like Pulizer Prize winning material.

Naaahh It's pretty cute.

That is a cute pic X! Sigh. Yarn pigtails

CL, I hope you feel better!

I wanted to sleep until 9 today but that didn't pan out. I woke up to feed my rowdy cats and discovered water leaking from under my dishwasher, all over my wood floor

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?

Thanks Fifi. I'm at home now feeling sorry for myself. I'm tempted to stick a toothbrush in my throat to get the puking feeling over with.

I wonder if I feel like this because I went back on the pill yesterday? If so at least it will pass.

^^^^^^

It may or may not. But, the first week on the pill for me was always quite nauseating.

It was messy, and it was verrrrrrrryyyyy sticky, but I got the storm door gasket glued on last night. No more Hello Kitty tape for me.

Now I just have to wait to do the razor blade clean-up once it cures.

My left knee is killing me, to the point where I am limping. I have no idea why it hurts, but I wish it would stop.

Yes, I am officially a red head.

I love it. I think I will be a redhead for a very loooooooong time. It's not very bright (I will have her go brighter next time) so I haven't been able to get a good picture. I'm going to ask my co-worker this afternoon after it dries a little.

^^ ooh la la can't wait to see it, Scrills! i love being an occasional red head. it's so much fun.

Curlylaura, it's been many years since I took the pill but I seem to remember feeling sick to my stomach when I first started. That might be a possibility. I'm glad you were able to go home. I can not stand being nauseous at work.

Waiting on a plumber is not what I had planned today. I have no idea what happened. I've not used my dishwasher in weeks. I've been hand washing.

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?

Vacuumed and lint rollered up five days worth of cat hair. What a furry shedding thing Wentie is.

The first week of my pill is the worst. It took my some time to figure out what I was happening. I was so sick in the morning and because it hadn't clicked why, I actually thought I was allergic to my toothpaste, LOL. (so dumb)

If that's what it is, it will go away after a day or two.

I didn't feel sick when I first started back on the pill a few years ago. Nor do I remember feeling sick when I was first on it years ago. YMMV, I guess.

Ah...photos of feet, Jeepy-style!

Does anyone know what those cans of stuff you can light and melt metal with are called? They're often used in fixing leaky metal pipes.
