my parents have friends over and I'm hiding in my room because they're loud. #curmudgeonproblems

awww thats so sweet...how could she say no to that

[female-sounding sn removed] in reply to [sn removed] 2 months ago
WTF. No, that is NOT sweet. "Can't you accept that I'm the best for you?" This is some creepy-ass rapey stalker talk. And you respond by saying it's SWEET and "how could she say no to that" I CAN'T. I CAN'T, I JUST CAN'T. I RAGEQUIT THIS YOUTUBE COMMENTS SECTION.

Maybe your demon dream was oddly, unhelpfully prophetic, Fifi! Demons cause trouble, after all. Maybe the blue represented her sad inner life and the spatula tail represented, um...I'll get back to you on that one. Directly related to the demon coworker dream, have you ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

((((CURLYSUE)))) I believe you that you're safe and okay but I think it's best to err on the side of too many hugs.

THERE ARE SO MANY VIDEOS OF CUTE KITTIES ON THE INTERNET.

also HEDGEHOGS OMG. i cannot adequately explain my love for hedgehogs in words. you need to EXPERIENCE the pure joy i feel.

I WISH I could blame my mania/mental state on being tired, but I am VERY well-rested, but cute animals make me REALLY HAPPY.

Oh, most definitely. The irrational nature of the complaint makes it even more annoying when it happens - like, this shouldn't bug me but it does and THAT bugs me. I think it's the angle I spray it at, and also the fact that my left hand is not dextrous enough to figure angles out. Next time (which will be a LONG time from now, this is a huge bottle!), I think I'll get the roll-on just to avoid frustration. XD

CE, it's the people who don't find joy in cute animals that ought to explain themselves. Search away!

I just feel like I could be doing more productive things, but I don't want to.

here are my favorites:

mini-piggy dancing!

hedgehog playing hide and seek!!

kitty

kitty

kitty

little kid throwing a tantrum (idk i think it's cute? also how I react to having to do the dishes. also why I should not be a parent, I would just watch the child yell and be mystifed. also because I'm including a toddler in a list of cute animals.)

I've honestly just been typing kitties into the search bar and looking for videos with the most ratings and there are MINI-PIGS. you can DRESS THEM UP. i like hedgehogs but you can't dress up hedgehogs unless you made them wear a poncho.

imagine knitting a little poncho for a hedgehog!! like a granny hedgehog with her mini knitting needles making a little poncho!! my brain exploded from how cute that would be. a hedgehog wearing a little poncho. omg.

I can't handle how cute this hedgehog is. it's crashing a tea party!! I aspire to be like this hedgehog.

I bought new deodorant - I ended up with BO yesterday. Not a good thing.

My daughter got hired as a permanent employee. Whew. After the firing incident I was concerned. I am thinking she may have learned her lesson. She is working as much overtime as they will offer her too.

Casey is weird. Every day he gets a little more odd. Howling when he wants attention for example. He never use to do that.

I am going to make white wine sangria today.

Whole Foods had cherries on sale yesterday for $1.99/lb. Yum. Some of these may go in the sangria mentioned above.

Why won't my work laptop connect to our new wireless? Worked fine before. I do not want to talk to our IT.

I want rain. We have not had any in weeks. And no snow melt to speak of this spring. We have a well.

I found out about 2 self wash dog washes last night. Such good news as Casey always needs a freshening in between his real grooming appts.

Off to shower and go hunting for a cool pitcher to put my sangria in.

Yes. I am drinking icedcoffeecrack. You got a problem with that? Huh??? Huh??

So, I was getting a dress for this outfit I was told I should bring. I feel all my other dresses fall under too classy for what they have in mind.

Of course, once out and about I suck it in.

I got the black because I've bought two bluish/greenish dresses recently.

But the truth is that this is a bit more my style.

The thing is that I have to find a top for it since none of mine are quite right and I just wanna be lazy and put on the dress and call it a day instead of hunting for a top. If I did find one, I'd exchange the dress for some accessories.

I like the sequined skirt one. I had a blue and black sequined snakeskin print skirt in my 20s. I wore it with a navy velvet camisole.

if the answers you give to that LONG questionnaire indicate that you are a *gasp* *horrors* Liberal atheist, they will reject you.

i filled out the whole thing only to receive a message at the end telling me that they would not be able to find a match for me.

Well, that does it. I totally reject e-harmony. Rou - enjoy that bottle of wine and screw the world. I hope someone HAWT comes along and gives you a good time. Personally, I think I'm at the stage of enjoying food more than sex. Especially ice-cream. Hee!
I wasn't religious enough for e-harmony and was rejected.
I wasn't patient enough to answer all of the questions.

love the big wine glasses, kae!

LOVE the teal dresses, saria! LOVE the sequins more!

(((HUGS))) for Ms Rural, who's little one is growing up too fast.

thanks for the hedgehog adorableness, CE!

X, i had to get a new router at home for my tablet - my old one was 6 years old. i gave it to my sister.

we had a light rain for 30 minutes yesterday. by the time i left the office at 5:00, you never would have known; there was a cloudless, HOT, blue sky above and all was dry.

i think i'm inviting myself over to X's place for sangria today... anyone else want to come?

(no, i'm not drinking wine at this early hour - just tea, out on the patio, where there is a cool breeze for now. i got up at 8:00 and yanked weeds for an hour. ugh!)
