Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.

Apparently to some... or something.

How am I supposed to take this class seriously when the scenario was written this way? It's rife with spelling, punctuation and grammar errors and this instructor will dock us for spelling errors? Right.

What I find comical is my introduction discussion board post. I've used the same one for at least ten classes with a spelling error that was missed until this instructor. My fault for turning off autocorrect & proofing.

It seems that I have to share my own photo from my own timeline. Weird. Found that work around on a Google search. Pics and posts from feeds seen to be missing on FB for a lot of people lately.

What a good night with my boys They mentioned The Walking Dead in random conversation. Neither had seen it, but wanted to. I had to correct that situation. We had a marathon until 5am.

Finally got some rain. For about 3 minutes. Not enough but I'll take it. I had fantastic weather for my vacation but we really need a few days of nice rain.

What I Did On My Summer Vacation (or, Four Lakes And a Pond). Really, this is all I did. Laid around different bodies of water and read. (Did I post this already? I have deja vu. Ignore if I did).

We have had rain every single day, for several days now. And a brief cool down though temps started climbing again yesterday. A few it poured almost 24-7. We needed it so bad, but I was starting to get a little blah by Friday.

I hope everyone that needs rain gets a down pour soon.

Still no rain. Nothing. I am not kidding when I say our lawn crunches. B is so sad about our cookout in August and the condition of the lawn.

And what is going on with our well. I wish there was a gauge. What a great idea for houses with wells

A gauge would be a fantastic idea, and one that reads to the earths core. Lol. My well is at 895 feet. I'm always curious when the water flow diminishes.

Take cover Rou!! Maybe it will turn from a thunder boomer to a nice steady rain that actually penetrates the ground.

And did y'all know it doesn't rain where I live ALL SUMMER LONG?!? It just....doesn't. Every time we move I get to learn about some weird environment thing that didn't happen the last place we lived. And when we do get rain during the Fall/Winter we don't get thunder or lightening. My neighbor has lived here for 20 years and said she remembers it thundering just a couple of times. How does that even happen? Calvin is quite happy about it though since thunderstorms turn him into a shivering ball of mommy velcro. I do really, really miss a good rain storm though.

The bonus to no rain is we can put things outside and not worry about them getting wet like patio furniture cushions and such. Thankfully our lawn is pretty small and so far hasn't cost much to water occasionally so it's not crunchy.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
In regards to your parent's stuff. Maybe you can keep an even number (say 4) of each type and donate the rest? You'd have more space that way and still have plenty of them.

Actually, I did wrap up a few items already to be donated. Those particular glasses were butt ugly, thoughk and I think they may have been freebies. Still, I'm going to go look at what I put in the china cabinet. I don't actually have a use for 8 old fashioned champagne glasses, do I? Thanks for the push!!

In other news, I think we're getting another dog! I just got off the phone with the woman from the rescue. They think Rosie is a full bred poodle. She is sweet as can be, and Heidi seemed to like her, too. Here is a picture with DD yesterday. DD is totally in love with this dog.

at least it's rained for most of the past hour, but i know it's not enough to help us much.

we are supposed to get more Tuesday, but it's also supposed to be steamy hot again, so everything will dry up by then.
