My father took me along to see "The Godfather" when I was about 8 or 9. I got hysterical.

I still hate mob movies.

Thank you! I just said to a woman at work, "I feel horrible saying this in light of the events, but..."

I can see the drive in, but a theatre is so loud, especially with a movie like this.

For a baby though (of course, this coming from someone without kids!), seems like it would be so loud on those little ears

If her oldest kids want to see Batman, she has to take them all. I saw Spiderman with them on the 4th, and the 2 year old was out like a light in 30 minutes. He slept through the whole movie.

It depends on the parents. My father kept me up all hours of the night, on weekends, watching horror movies when I was a toddler. I've always been a fan. I saw the Exorcist when I was small. My mom didn't approve at all.

When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

2. Why do so many people take babies and small children to adult movies, at midnight.

as for the babies, I'm not entirely sure. Some babies don't sleep at night. They were probably up anyways.

CIBC: Wasn't today the day you had that scary meeting with your boss - you were worried you would be fired? Please update!

Claudine19, I like stingray accessories (belts, purses, boxes in which to keep jewelry, etc.). Too expensive for me, but great looking. I know - I am bad and I need my consciousness raised. I am unrepentant.

Steve's voice (Miranda's husband from Sex and the City) is super annoying. Im not sure if it's his actual voice or his accent, or his voice coupled with his accent. Either way, shut up Steve!

I'm trying to come to terms with my life choices. I changed my major again (4th time) and this time I am finally happy with my choice.
My first three majors were all health/medical related and it felt like the right thing to do since it involved helping people. I felt like I could make a real difference.
My major now caters solely to me and what I've really wanted to do with my life since I was 15. I am trying to justify in my mind why doing what I want to do is okay.

Nah. I should know better than to kid about something like that. I know there are many on this board who are very passionate animal lovers and might be offended.

It's interesting, I was so furious at Michael Vick, as much as if he had been torturing humans, but my empathy (or whatever) doesn't extend to all other types of animals. I suppose that could change.

As for letting kids watch scary or adult themed movies, that doesn't bother me. I just don't like the idea of taking them to a movie in the middle of the night where most of the other adults would likely prefer to see it without fussy kids around.
We went to see horror movies when we were little kids, at the drive-in, at a normal time of night, in our car, where we wouldn't bother anyone else, and where we could fall asleep if we got tired. We also watched 'adult' movies at home, again where we wouldn't bother anyone else if we got cranky.

RCC - that dress is so awesome!

Almost 3 hours I spent on the road.

I hate you for how sorry you react when I walk in the door.

Share?!?! Why would I expect you to share? You only care about yourself. It's tired. I'm tired.

Good luck. I wish you well. I am checking out of this relationship.

I wish you took your phone. I would have pulled a BS trick like you and made you get me beer on your way out. F YOU.

****. You will see that I text you and called you twice about it when you get back. Again: F YOU.

Meeeow RCC! Lol. I'm glad the dress worked out. It's is beautiful.

Murrrcat, I want to watch Breaking Bad. It's on my list. I've been told that I would love that show.

My mom is in Canada on vacation visiting a family member from Mexico that is living there with his family. A new baby in the family on the 4th of July and now 10 people are in their house visiting.

My mom says that there are cougars and bears around and that she saw a bear in the back yard!! So they hang out in the front. Hehe... Yeah... The front of the house is safe from the bears and cougars in the back mom! She is by...Alberta? Maybe Toronto? She told me but I've forgotten in my self-centeredness.

I seriously just took 30 minutes out of her trip to tell her about my issues.

Not cool. I stopped myself mid-sentence and told her to have fun.

I need help.

Stickers on fruit are very hard to remove when you have short nails. And really, isn't one sticker per nectarine enough? I think so.

Also, I feel guilty for not liking this famous American classic (book) more. Now that I'm trying it again, I remember what put me off the first time: the dialect.
