Say It. I Dare You.

I hate steroids! They make me eat like a hoover vacuum cleaner, retain water (I guess that would make me more of a shop vac than a hoover!), irritable, short-tempered, and just yucky physically. And my ear still hurts. So does my head. I hate summer colds. I hate that I am allergic to the homeopathic treatment for earaches. I hate Sudafed, both the meth-making kind that you have to sign for and the icky OTC Sudafed that you don't sign for. The first makes me wired and not in a good way, the second makes me sleepy. I hate being sick. I am going to go eat a second breakfast and try to get going on my day's work. WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!
Help! I'm watching Noodle and Doodle and I find it entertaining.

I was born to be a pessimist. My blood type is B Negative.
Seems to be a lot of overlap between the anti-gun control crowd and the anti-gay marriage crowd. Probably wouldn't see a lot of senseless killing as the result of a wild gay marriage spree though.
The best revenge is living well. The second best revenge is fire ants.
Unhhh, this headache (sinus) is going to make it very hard to concentrate on my homework. I think I'll ignore it for a while.

I snorted some generic flonase, hopefully it'll make a difference.

I use it, missb. It takes a bit to build up in your system.

So, either be patient, or abuse it, is my unsolicited advice.

Dogs and nature abhor a vacuum.

Could I then come to Nana's Cottage??

Ah, Saturday. The day my neighbor allows his 72 pound dog off leash in the front yard while he does yard work and she wanders around the cul de sac.

I haven't had it since, and I'm 28 years old now

I tried Dayquil about 5 years ago, and my face swelled up.

I just have to suffer through my cold symptoms - it's not worth the risk of whatever these medicines seem to do to me.
There may be flonase abuse in my future.

Any insect enthusiasts out there? We're trying to figure out what this little guy is, it's eating the aphids and I'm not complaining!

I'll try to get better pics when I get home. The SO is tired but hey you can see them at least!

It's the winged red question mark.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
Bah! It was showing when I submitted the post. I edited and it's showing again. Godaddy hosting tends to be finicky in the morning apparently.

To me it looks like a cross between a cricket & grasshopper but no wings.

Maybe a katydid? (the buggy)

Yea, he's so green! Grasshoppers & crickets aren't really green here. As long as they stick around and keep eating the little plant-sucking pests I don't care.

Judging from the pictures, looks like it is a katydid MoppyT. I guess we'll just keep an eye on them and make sure they're only eating the aphids.

Um HOW is it that I've never seen Step Up before today? I LOVE a cheesy high-school musical with star-crossed lovers and great dancing!

And Channing Tatum. Heavens. How he can look like that and move like that. It's just a bit too much. Off to take a cold shower!
I know this is the NON hair board, but it's more about me than the hair:

it has to be nearly ten years since I found NC.com. (please ignore my supposed 'start date.') No complaints, it's been a tremendous resource all this time. But I want to say that this summer is my best curly season ever. Even my wonky, stubborn bangs are curling right I'm not doing anything different, so it must be the little tweak we did on my cut this past spring. Or luck, or...?

that's all. Just needed to share with some one who understands the plight of the curly, and not think I'm a crazy or bragging B among the straight haired people of my world.

Hey is that harry shrum? Now that guy can move.

And speaking of which, now I've also seen Step Up 2. And the dancing in that movie buries the dancing in the original! I mean... how do people move like that. It...defies the laws of nature. A-mah-zing.
