I was so proud of myself yesterday - burned 500 calories on the treadmill!

Weighed myself at the doctors this morning. Its hopeless.

I had pizza Regina, and it was alright, but frankly: Motorino or GTFO. NYC pizza, baby. Haters gonna hate!

East Coast Snob fo' life with an extra helping of NYC snobbery!

I mean, it wasn't bad. It was acceptable. But put it in NYC and it would not have lines out the door. And having had Motorino shortly before coming here, which is mind-blowingly delicious pizza, an unfavorable comparison was inevitable. When I was looking into what pies would best show off what they make, I found an article that said Boston's pizza and bagel game are pretty weak in spite of the high number of NYC transplants, but I'm always hopeful.
I fully expect Mass. Vietnamese to wipe the floor with NYC, though, because our Vietnamese game is weak. And I know there is Chinese to be had that is pretty damn formidable, though NYC is no slouch there, particularly in Flushing. I'm already planning a xiao long bao and shengjian bao trip to Dumpling Cafe here.

I'm on my way home now for my days off to get some stuff. Looking forward to some MTA and dirty streets.
Deep breathing deep breathing!! It shouldn't be TOO hard to ask a guy on a date, right!!? Eeeeppp. Finally worked up the nerve and the damn line was BUSY! Greaaatt.

I read 5 articles that say red wine is beneficial even if you're dieting, and then Dr Oz says it causes belly fat.

What the heck.

I should not have stepped on that damn scale!!!

Huh. Some people at a Tony Robbins seminar burned their feet when they tried to walk on hot coals. Go figure.

I was born to be a pessimist. My blood type is B Negative.
Saria, my skin is slowly, slowly improving. I'm hopeful it will get back straight (well, as straight as it can get with all the redness I have). *crossing fingers* I had the same issue with the roughness, it was hard to explain, but I do notice it's smoother now.

Hope it continues to work because I can actually find this in a store and it's relatively cheap!

-Is there such a thing as mango coconut rice? And would it go with macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi? I have no idea what to put with the fish and I don't want to go to the grocery.

-I hope everyone is having a great day.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Sweet mango coconut milk sticky rice is one of my favorite things at our local Chinese/Thai restaurant. I love it so. Sounds like it would be great with nut crusted fish.

ETA: you basically replace some of water with the coconut milk and add diced mango at the end. Some people suggest using coconut cream and adding cilantro
