I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
iroc, thank you so much. I feel like such a dolt that I can't express myself better, but it just doesn't come out for some reason.

Jeep, it's funny you say that because as he was talking about it he said the exact same thing. I think he was trying to make me feel better, but ummm...no.

Here's hoping it's the only one he ever has. I'm still trying to sort through how I feel about this and not have a nervous breakdown.

I'm so glad to have this outlet/site for sorting through 'stuff'.

Mr. Spring had an accident on his motorcycle today (he's ok, bruised and scraped). When he told me, I couldn't even look at him and after telling him several times I was glad he was ok I told him I can't talk about it right now. I hate that I shut down when I'm upset, I know it made him feel horrible, but there is no way I could even look at him without bursting into tears. I hope he understands. This has scared me so badly and all I can do are run through scenarios in my head of what happens the next time and he's not so lucky. I'm not made to handle this sorta thing.

I just saw a hummingbird.

Hummingbirds and Cardinals always make me happy.

My next tattoo is going to be a hummingbird.

Dear jerky inconsiderate neighbor,

Yes we all saw you outside all day washing and waxing your car and we all know its a Mercedes. If you'd like to keep said Mercedes from being sideswiped by one of my vehicles, I'd appreciate it if you moved it off your display in the street (and directly in my path to back out of my driveway) and back into your own driveway.

Signed,
Annoyed neighbor

PS: The convention of people you or your girlfriend keep parading in and out of your house lately is really bothersome.

I think he was doing it to show off his freshly cleaned car as if anyone in my neighborhood cares. The frequent visitors coming and going help add to the cars when they actually do park in their driveway. Its frustrating!

Gosh, I wish I had a good photo of the German Chocolate Cake I just made for a customer!

It was my first time making one, and it came out so. freaking. awesome!
(I always make a cupcake or two, so I can test the flavor, etc.)

The client was telling me how her husband thought it was dumb to spend money on a cake someone else made when she could make one herself. When I dropped it off, he was super impressed and told her she made a great decision!!

So I couldn't bring myself to go inside any of the restaurants I wanted to go to today because I am alone and they were packed. Some restaurants are great to go by yourself, especially for lunch. But when they're decently big and packed, it's uncomfortable. Aside from people sometimes wanting to get rid of you so they can give your table to a bigger party, it's just odd being surrounded by people talking, in an animated manner no less, while you sit there alone. Le sigh. I really wanted my rice noodle soup with roast pork and duck. I didn't want to take it to go since noodles get mushy.
Thanks Kayb, that was awesome!!!! Can it be 2013 already? I need some more minions in my life.

We went to an arts and crafts store and I saw all the baking stuff. I want to learn how to do all of that!
