I'm O- but I'm not a big magnet for skeeters. We haven't had them too bad this year (deer flies are another story). We sat out in the woods last night for a few hours and I got bit once. The campfire keeps some of them away but there just didn't seem to be many around.

I have baby doves on my patio! I can't get a good pic cuz the mom built the nest in a very hard spot for me to get to. But I can see them moving around up there. I'm excited.

wild hair, thanks for sending me the copy of that long post. I was utterly confused by most of it. I'm not sure I figured out what they were really trying to say.

i'm an O- and once i got bitten so badly by mosquitos that i ended up in hospital with a fever. mosquitos are the reason i don't put a pond in my yard; plus the racoons!

Just FYI, homeopathy truly is a scam. It's based on the principal that the more diluted something is, the more potent it is. In other words, homeopathic remedies are literally nothing but water and sugar pills.

I've tried. I think the ink has set in. I found the pen after I'd washed it. I'm letting it dry and I'll give it another go but it's had four washes now. It's better than it was but still bad. Good job I have 3 other uniforms.

On another note, I really need to get my hair trimmed. When conditioner doesn't soak in, it's definately time for a cut.

I had french toast for breakfast yesterday at a diner and it was so good. For some reason every time I've made it at home it's just mediocre and not my favorite, but when I have it out somewhere it's so delicious. Unfair!

This morning so far I've had half of two different cupcakes for breakfast and they were so good. One was a peach cupcake with the most amazing fresh peach taste and the other was like a Samoa Girl Scout cookie with toasted coconut and a chocolate ganache filling. The few times I've had cupcakes from one of those cutsie overpriced cupcake places they've just been sorta meh, but these were actually good.

Try using sourdough. And let the bread slices sit out the night before. That's what SO does and his is amazing.

Yeah I know. I need to sit down and work it out. Dad said I should get it back automatically, but I didn't for last year, and I only earnt around £3000.

And seeing how much I've made in black and white like that kind of makes me want to cry a bit.

You can claim back tax for up to the last 6 years. When I did it I just phoned the tax office told them I wanted to claim and they sent me a few cheques.

But I know what you mean about seeing it in print.

Also, I've just seen a spinal fusion on tv. Thank god I did not have that done last year, although hearing the drill was gross because that sound happened during my surgery. Blegh.
