You can claim back tax for up to the last 6 years. When I did it I just phoned the tax office told them I wanted to claim and they sent me a few cheques.

But I know what you mean about seeing it in print.

Also, I've just seen a spinal fusion on tv. Thank god I did not have that done last year, although hearing the drill was gross because that sound happened during my surgery. Blegh.

Also do you know if you can claim back some of the NI-A? They've taken quite a lot for that as well (like over 200) and I'm having trouble finding out how much they should take.

Why does no one teach you these things at school.
You can claim back at any time. Just phone tomorrow. I can't remember what overpaid tax I got back but I ended up with about 700. It's the tax office. If they don't have to pay it back they won't. They seem to work on the assumption most people don't know how or if they can claim anything back.

It's always worth asking IMO.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Heh, um, Nordstrom Rack-

$99 is not a great discount. Half your stuff is ugly anyway.

And lady at the pharmacy-

There's a reason why the sign says to stand behind the line until its your turn. Idiot.

Yay, spiders!
I wish I had some spiders around so they could murder the hell out of these mosquitoes.
I had a nice chat with Treebeard this morning. : )
I swear one of these days this tree is gonna get up and walk with me. Sometimes I can see him moving.

I need to go through my clothes after the 'big closet disaster'. I am procrastinating. I know I will end up with at least 4 bags to be donated. And I am taking big trash bags.

I solemnly swear I will keep my phone camera ready and screech to a halt when I see the next tarantula on the road. I saw the first one of the season on Thursday.

By far the most annoying part of making ladyfingers is this:

But I'd rather do it than trying to pipe them without a visual guide.

I forgot to mention that a large black snake lives in that tree. The tree itself is still alive even tho it's almost entirely hollow.

I want to be back in Colorado. Vail is too beautiful and the lack of humidity was simply divine. Especially compared to the sauna that is NoVa today.

On another note I made blondies using almond butter that are super yum-and super easy! And receiving rave reviews, too. I rarely bake so this is exciting.
Ok if this thread is going to become the spider thread I may have to depart *shudder*
I did it. 5 bags of clothes. Who ever gets my bags at the salvation army will have hit the Ann Taylor motherlode. And before any one suggests I sell them-stop.

Ugh and oy.

I became overwhelming hungry while at my BFF's dogsitting, and ate:

Taco Shells (quite a few)
Pretzels
Stale Mint Milanos (miniatures)
Pizza Flavored Goldish

And lots and lots of ice water.

I feel kind of crummy now. Big surprise.

Dogs and nature abhor a vacuum.
