In unrelated news: my mom gave me a bunch of work stuff since she is retired and has no use for that stuff. She has enough fabulous stuff that she can give me stacks and stacks of stuff. So she gave me a fabulous beige linen short pant suit. I'm going to pair it with a navy with little beige polka dot top with tuxedo ruffles (I've had forever but never anything that went well with it) and a navy pair of rounded toe heels/pumps. I feel cute already.

Now. What accessories??

Summer pudding is bread. It's a very English dessert of bread saturated in lightly sweetened berries. It's usually made in a bowl so it looks like a dome, but I thought a terrine shape would be cool. Must be served with cream.

earlier today, there was a spider in my bathtub. naturally, i ran away and shut the bathroom door.

I just peeked inside the bathtub AND THE SPIDER IS GONE!!!!

I am not sleeping tonight. the spider is obviously plotting all sorts of nefarious evils.

My dad, an electrician, recently informed me that he has been showing my picture to customers who mention that they have sons.

I know I should probably be a little annoyed, but really I'm just slightly worried about what picture he might be showing them... Seeing as I have a tendency to steal phones and take pictures of myself in which I try to see how many chins I can give myself.

I killed a big house centipede in the tub tonight. Hate those things. They are the only things I kill (beside yellow jackets, hornets, and japanese beetles). They run REALLY fast and really do scare the daylights out of me sometimes. And they can get big. I would post a pic but some of you seem to be ascared of bugs. : )
