Paying employees to post false good reviews of your company and false bad reviews of competitors ... you disgust me.

In a shocking twist, I had a cab driver tonight who was actually a decent human being and didn't try to nickel and dime the hell out of me! And he knew where the hell he was going! I know, it seems completely unbelievable, but it really happened!
So, in the things about Boston that confuse me is perception of what's expensive in regard to food.
Like how my friend went to TW Food and recommended it to a server. The server felt it was pricey. It was seven courses at $85! That is cheap! So is Bondir's 10-course tasting at basically $90. Then I got that I'm just used to expensive food being from NY. Umm, no! New York has way cheaper food than Boston overall. You guys pay way too much for middle of the road food. You have bargains for higher end stuff and you're unable to see that yet the prices for things like pizza are outrageous to this New Yorker. I mean, the other day I wanted to do dinner that wouldn't be Asian, but as I tried to think of decent places with American food, they all seemed way too expensive for a simple casual dinner. A restaurant like Butcher Shop would not be priced that high in NYC. For being a casual, not particularly high end place, the prices are obscenely high. The food was good, but it should not cost that much for what it is. Same goes for a place like Neptune. I'd sooner save my money and go for what is an absolute bargain at Bondir for excellent, imaginative food than get good, but not particularly special food that is overpriced.

Dear Macy's,
Your incredibly annoying ads that magically open up eighty-billion times when I'm on this site make me want to NEVER set foot in your store EVER again.
Perhaps you would like to reconsider this approach to your advertising.
Sincerely,
JCP is Looking Better ALL. THE. TIME.

This looks really nice, but all I can think is "mosquito haven".
Attachment 24393
Maybe if I had a couple of frogs to put in there and some spiders handy I might be more receptive to that idea.

I am so sick of my boss. For a few years, I've thought about getting another job, I'm finally to the point of thinking I might NEED to get one before I hurt someone.

Last night, Davin said his first "Love you," to his daddy. It was so sweet! My husband was over the moon. It was super cute.

Close your eye, cool weather lovers - I turned my furnace on yesterday morning and again this morning. My little electric heater is on right now at work.
Saria, that little 'pond' is adorable. You can put mosquito dunks in there (natural, doesn't hurt animals or fish, just gets rid of skeeters).

Dear Guy in my Biology Class all those years ago,
I'm sorry I didn't help you when you asked. I was mad at you for cheating with that other student, and I didn't give you a chance to make it right as a result. I think I made a mistake. I was young and nervous and struggling, but I still wish I'd helped you.
I hope you're having a good life.

I really enjoyed shopping for clothes last time I went to JCP. And I totally agree with you, Macy's needs to stop hijacking my web experience.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

My hoo-hoo appointment is today. (Yes, it's mine and I can call it something utterly ridiculous if I want, especially if it makes me laugh. So shut it)
I'm ridiculously nervous. I think more so than the first time I had one. I over think things more now that I'm older. Curse you, aging!! I'm going shopping when I get done so I'm trying to focus on that and the happy fact that I figured out what to get Mr. Spring for his birthday so he doesn't have to be present-less.

Of course I'm interested since this is pretty much perfect for me, but I'm cracking up at how not similar we are with the "eat healthy and exercise". I run from exercise like the plague, as much as I do love to walk.
And while I like food that is generally pretty healthy, I hate what falls under "healthy" food and make no effort to eat "healthy" foods. I mean, I love me some crunchy caramelized cauliflower, but I'm not eating plain steamed cauliflower, thank you.
But hey, maybe if we hit it off I could have someone to go get Chinese with, since so much of it can be classified as healthy.
