I just realized that my FB friend isn't just visiting Singapore, she got a job in Singapore and lives there now!
Cue feeling like a failure!
Granted, getting a pastry job is probably a bit easier than culinary in Asian countries (except for maybe hotels and the like), but that would be such an amazing opportunity. Sigh. I don't care about moving within the US, but working in a place like Macau, or Hong Kong, or Singapore would be fantastic. I don't even know how you manage that, though, what with needing places to provide a working visa and finding most places don't want to do it.

Nice color. You look stern, though. It's a stern librarian with wild hair and red lipstick! I don't know what to think! So confused!
Perhaps some day I will find a red shade that doesn't make me look sickly and yellow-complected.

I made a huge pitcher of sweet tea and left it in the fridge at work. I've been drinking it like mad, over ice with milk (since I can't really do coffee). I thought about this tea all through my 9am meeting.
Got to the fridge, and there was my empty pitcher with a note "Sorry, I spilled it. Didn't drink"
so sad

Ugh, how is it that I had a period of amazing, clear skin and now it's been like a month since my skin didn't look like a hot mess?
I mean, I can deal with having days where I just feel utterly blah, but when my skin looks like **** it really kills me and my confidence, and I've had to deal with this for at least two weeks.
I ****ing hate PSF so much.

I've had the same problem lately, Saria. I don't know how I went 6+ months with really nice skin, only to go back to crappy skin so suddenly. I haven't changed anything in my routine at all!
