4 inch heels today. Just shy of stripperdom. Attachment 24488
Attachment 24489
I've had three random women take pictures of them today. They sure do attract attention.

I've got a KC product in the graveyard upstairs, I forget which one, that didn't work for me. It seems nothing that is a HG for anyone else ever works for me. Maybe if I chant "this will work, this will WORK" as I apply it that will help? haha Or I should revisit it now that I've gotten a haircut and read up on how to apply it.
On another hair related note I bought a new hair dryer yesterday and holy mother of ear splitting sound, that thing is so loud! I boxed it right back up to return and guess I'll have to search for a new one. I am happy to see so many coming with diffusers these days, it wasn't always so easy to find a dryer that came with one.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

No raccoon in the trap.
I thought I heard it last night. I'm such a chicken (and ninja actually thought I could hurt or cary it). I got in my car and backed up so that I could look on the roof from the safety of my vehicle. Nothing
I checked again this morning. The food is gone but the there is no raccoon in the trap. I don't think we set it right and I think the food was in the wrong place.
Im sure the raccoon is in my attic making s'mores with the marshmallows from the trap
And now it's raining. I just want to cry in frustration

scrills, I feel sooooo bad that you're dealing with this! We had a critter scritching (it's a word, trust me) in the wall or ceiling or something at our house in CT and it drove me insane. That whole house was riddled with bugs and critters and I do not miss it at all. Mice pooping on everything in our basement, carpenter ants taking over our living area every summer, woodpeckers destroying the overhang of the roof and whatever that scritching critter was.
I sure hope you're able to get some resolution to this and be peaceful at home again.

Springy, the "universal" ConAir diffuser is wonderful & can be used on pretty much any hair dryer.

The Con Air diffuser is available at Sally's. I go through about one every other year.

Thank y'all for the suggestion! I did find a dryer yesterday labeled as a quieter model, but it didn't come with a diffuser. Y'all never had a problem with that diffuser coming off and hitting you in the head or just falling off in general? I bought a universal diffuser once and it just wouldn't stay on, so I've always stuck with dryers that come with because they attach to the dyer securely.

I've been using the same Vidal Sassoon hairdryer and diffuser combo ever since I joined this site in 2006. That's sort of funny for some reason.

Now what's up with the app? It won't even open. That and a few other things are making me really reconsider being here at the moment.

I couldn't get on here for an hour or so.
You guys would not enjoy spending much time at my boyfriend's house. There is always something living in the ceiling or walls. Raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, rats, skunks, possums, etc. They vary depending on what the cats get rid of. At night you hear them scratching and walking and nuts rolling around. Sounds like a bowling alley at times. : )

I've had my current dryer for several years and use it every single day, but something is telling me to go ahead and get a new one like I have a feeling it's going to mess up. I'd like to get a new one that I love and keep this one as a backup since it still works and also keep it on hand for guests so they can pack light and not have to worry with bringing a dryer. I guess the upcoming back to back family visits in a couple weeks have spurred me to find a new one as well.

A new one sounds fun. I was more surprised that I've had mine that long. I'm sure that technology has improved since then.
