Found this article.

http://m.gizmodo.com/5944693/the-best-public-transportation-apps-for-ios-6

People who don't use the transit options are going on about how people know their routes anyway. Uh, way to miss the point. I use the transit feature to go to places I've never been using public transportation, not places I know.

An article that quantified the change:

Quote:
In iOS 6, Apple no longer uses Google’s traffic, transit, or street view features, switching instead to their own traffic data, and adding turn-by-turn navigation and a 3D Flyover view. As a result, features will be lost in dozens of countries:

Transit: Removed from 51 countries with 4.8 billion people.
Traffic: Removed from 24 countries with 2.4 billion people.
Street View: Removed from 41 countries with 2.9 billion people.

I'm so sad I could cry. I can't believe I missed the Space Shuttle Endeavour flying over Houston. I'm really getting teary eyed over here.

Maybe next Fall I can get an internship at NASA.

I think I saw the same article. Flippant (and perhaps classist) comments by non transit users. I don't always know the best routes, and I don't always know the best bus transfers.

I can't find the shoe thread while on my phone so I'm posting these here. Ballet flats and some really not flat platforms

It's been so long since I've cooked my meat Dominican style. I almost forgot how to do it. All I'm missing is the peppers and onions for this meat.

My mother just found out her very close friend has terminal cancer.

I'm so sorry for both of them. Cancer sucks.

I hope you're putting the right kind of meat through that punishment and not some poor unsuspecting chicken breast, pork cutlet, or halfway decent steak.

Haha I just meant seasoning wise. I had my grandmothers make me the sazon but it's been almost a year since I've cooked that way. I started seasoning and stared at the meat for a while trying to remember what was next lol but I got it together eventually.

My school's residence hall association is having a car wash fundraiser on campus tomorrow... What they failed to take into account is that us commuters make up 90% of the car population.

Have fun raising money for the dorms.

I just registered to vote for the first time in my life.

Wish it wasn't because I'm absolutely terrified of someone getting into office. Better later than never no matter my motivation!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

You know, when your proof of something is the very thing some of us think is a crock of ****, that doesn't count as valid proof.

Mr. Spring and I will be voting the same, thank goodness. He never participates in the political discussions at work.

We just ate some really great ice cream and I'm usually the one spazzing out when I like a dessert "Oh my WORD this is sooooo damn good..oh mah gahh!", but this time Mr. Spring was the spazzo and said he was going to go into the kitchen and do something derogatory to the carton he loved it so much. Y'all, I can't even.

Yeah, he'd be outnumbered. Some of us closeted lefties would meet for lunch now and again to speak freely, lol.
