my Hungarian grandmother didn't speak much English either.  but she was fluent in (other than Hungarian), Slovak, Ukrainian and French.

Thanks for all the hugs. I greatly appreciate them....
A lot of people got laid off, and I was not one of them.
I was on the list of people getting laid off, but got taken off. I don't know why. I'm literally sitting at my computer crying (a mix of relief and sadness).... a lot of good people, hell, GREAT people lost their job. A lot of people I talk to every day and am now going to miss greatly.
This hurts. It really hurts.

I just spent my evening at open house to meet my kids teachers and all the conversation was about was all the test taking and prepping that my kids will be doing. I am sad for my kids but also the teachers who are being forced to implement these rules because they are judged by these tests. Some of the teachers were really great and I know my kids will learn a lot but I feel like all they are are little test taking robots.

SCG. If you need help though. Message me. I'm pretty much only good for Macro though....I don't like to bother with the finer details of Micro. That's what I tell myself, but it's really all the darn math involved.
