I have to find an outfit to wear to a wedding in November. I really don't know what to wear or what looks good on me. And I must say I am not looking forward to going but, SO is a groomsmen so I have to put on a smile and go sit with a bunch of strangers.

Okay, okay, okay.

Right now, I am depressed to the point where I'm not able to physically function.

I got rejected for a job I REALLY wanted and had an awesome interview for and am having major issues with my family, as much as I am trying to ignore them.

I feel like that line in the song "America" right now..."I'm empty and I'm aching and I don't know why."

I'm TERRIFIED nothing is going to turn around. I still go to my "positive thinking class" but at this point, I think I'm going to get kicked-out, because the past few classes I just go in there and if you look at me crooked or make me talk about anything, I start crying.

I've tried so hard and I don't think anybody has ever tried harder than I have. Things were supposed to be getting better, and now I feel like I'm LOWER than square one.

Prayers and good vibes please, I guess? Thanks.

CIBC, my honey bunches of "hopes," you have so much talent and strength that it kills me that you cannot see it and that others (including your family and hiring managers) cannot see it either. You deserve so much happiness and I believe that it *will* come to you. Please know that I am of the believe that everything will turn around, and that you will be permanently happy doing what you love, surrounded by people who love and support you.

This lighter one is also nice:

I haven't watched the remake, but I am sure they must have as there is no gore in the original.

They kept pretty faithful. There's more nudity than the original, but the blood wasn't too bad.
I will say that I thought the part where he disposes of the body was just excruciatingly long. I don't remember, but I don't think the original spent that much time on it.

I'm really sorry, CIBC. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers - and I'm not a hugger, but consider a million hugs sent your way.

I cant believe the weekend is here already. Is it wrong to hope my husband doesn't try to help me this weekend? I am terrified to go grocery shopping. Actually, I think I am scared to leave him in the house.

We decided the kitchen needed a good cleaning. At his suggestion, I took almost everything out of it. It turned out to be a great idea. I was able to get rid of a ton of stuff. Our cabinets have room now and look much better. It took me almost all week, but by Sun I was close to being done. One countertop had our crockpot on it cooking our dinner, but otherwise clear. One small countertop had the coffee pot and the tea kettle, clear so we could easily make coffee and tea. The other two counter were not clear, but close. I was still arranging a few things, but had a good idea of what I wanted to do. I had maybe an hours work left, if that.

There were still some things on our table that needed a home, and that would have gone with the work in the kitchen. There were papers I had sorted and stacked ready to put in folders. Then, I made the mistake to go grocery shopping. Somehow, he manage to undo much of my work.

When I got home, the table was completely cleared off. All of that stuff is now in bins that belong on our shelves. The books that belong in those bins are stacked up against the wall. My countertops which were relatively clean now have stuff all over them. The sink, which was clean when i left, has dishes stacked in it. For some reason, clothes are in between our couch and chair.

I just couldn't stand to be in the kitchen much this week. I waffled between crying or going completely nuts with rage. I didn't do either. Unfortunately, nothing got done this week. I think I am ready. Now I have to take everything off the countertops, empty those bins, try to remember what my plan was and come up with a plan to keep my husband very busy.

Okay, see, these things just don't happen to me. Random strangers who try to approach me usually come at me with sleaze or tired old lines to disguise their sleaze.

That was really nice. So how'd the guy deliver the note?

He left it there while she went to bathroom. It was in a coffee shop.

D, I know I can't say anything to make it better but I really, really wish I could. Sending hugs and looking up ways to somehow send your mom and sister a super long-lasting case of laryngitis.

Saria, I'm actually IMing with her right now and I mentioned it and her responses were along the lines of "lol, yeah" - noticed it, presumably didn't appreciate it, but wasn't turned off by it - and I'm back to "hey this is your friend and all subjects are open DUH." Including deciding that this one time when Watson found a head in the fridge was the point at which to make a spin-off, a much darker Sherlock in which the title character is a cannibal. It wasn't so dark when we were talking about it, though - we had Watson just be like, "Ugh, and you didn't pick me up anything?" and shout at Sherlock when he offered him an ear or nose. (Which may actually make cannibal!Sherlock more considerate than canon!Sherlock...) We have decided that slasher fic? snack fic? is way more fun than slash fic and that we should inform the internets.

Holy crap. I don't - what - brain stopped. I'm listening to various Lady Gaga songs my friend gave me and just got to this remix of Love Game, and it seriously just made me stop thinking with its twitchy-sounding constant repetition. I am ascared.

I didn't read very far into that blog post before I mentioned it and my friend was like "NOOOO NO FAIR READING SPOILERS I WANT YOUR FIRST REACTIONS MISSY," but just from that picture at the beginning: wow, I didn't know Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes had such incredibly similar changes made to them. Moffat, dude, you have some serious issues.

YOU AND YOUR FRIEND HAVE THE BEST IDEAS AND SHOULD OBVIOUSLY TAKE MOFFAT'S JOB THAT HACK!

I really want to read something. My short term memory is crap these days and I find reading helps. Plus I just love books, so win-win. I wish I had gotten to The Strand before getting back to Boston, but I'm on my way back now. I'll have to see if I can find a comparable bookstore there.
I need fiction recommendations!

#That moment when you realize you left your charger at home
#sigh

I can't wait to watch the new Parks & Rec.

Amazon is having a huge sale and there are a couple of handbags that are intriguing, but I don't think I love them as much as the ones on my wish list, which unfortunately are not on sale.
