I really need to know why these people out here NEVER use the damn crosswalk?! They decide that it's ok to cross in the middle of a busy road where everyone is doing the 45mph speed limit. Wtf? I don't get it.

What in the world is going on with people tonight? Considering the number and type of calls I've received in the first 30 min of work, I'm askeered.

Thank you for asking. Luckily, it's just one eye. The pain is reduced about 80%, the redness is much better. I have to keep this pupil dilated for a couple of weeks since much of the pain is caused from the movement of the pupil. I have prednisone drops to take every two hours until Monday. Hopefully then I'll be able to start tapering off. It depends on how many white cells are still floating around in there.

Whew. Long answer, lol.

I have an iritis flare. My brother and I get them sometimes. Genetic immune system oddities, lol.

I am glad it is just one eye and the pain is better. I can relate to eye issues. I absolutely love the steroid drops (not)!

It's weird how they can get stringy, and I have to get the strings off my eye. But, it beats suffering. I'm a wimp with eye and dental pain. Blech.

I bought some oxfords, which I never thought I would, but I liked these!

Attachment 25698

They're a half size too big, though, and there are no more in that size.

I have to admit I really dig these lemony yellow ones:

I think that since I have to return the first pair, I should get the yellow ones.
The bonus is that oxfords are pretty cheap.

I am glad it is just one eye too. That does not look comfortable at all. I hope it eases up quickly.

This sums up work tonight, perfectly

Drink some milk? Drink some Guinness? Eat spicy food? Those all make me go.

Oh yeah. We are having a moment of peace now (you never say the 5 letter Q word) but I don't think it will last long.
