Things you think of while spending 50 minutes in the MRI machine.
1. WTF are all these noises?! Loud, screaming, screeching, thumping, vibrating, being attacked by aliens noises! How am I supposed to take a damn nap?!
2. I'm pretty sure something just touched my foot.
3. Good thing I'm not claustrophobic. That would be bad. Stuck in a tiny tube filled with loud noises, unable to get out, with things touching your feet. And where did the panic button go? Good thing I'm not claustrophobic or panicy. Yep, good thing.
4. If this was a Final Destination movie I bet I would be getting lasered in half by this machine.

Thank y'all so much for the well wishes and positive thoughts!! I'm 100% sure that it helps.
He wasn't able to see his regular vet, but they shaved his little leg and put a fentanyl patch on for pain. He did well with the neurological tests so that's always a good sign, but he's got some major pain in a certain spot on his back and I don't think this is an area he's had issue in before. If he doesn't have any negative reaction to the pain patch he'll have to go in and have it removed in five days (it's a controlled substance so they have to keep track of the patch) and I'll make that appt. so he can see his regular vet who is familiar with his problems because I've got questions on how long we should have him on crate rest and stuff. He's currently in his crate fighting sleep, he nodded off but won't put his head down and when his head drooped he woke himself up.  Poor guy, even in pain he's just cute as can be.
There is no good time for something like this to happen, but I hate that it's during our family visiting. At least Mr. Spring can still take everyone out to do all the activities we had planned while I stay home with Mr. Calvin.

When I had my first MRI all I could think of was the smoke monster on Lost. I swear that's where they got part of the sound effects from. I closed my eyes and pretended I was on the island.
((((Calvin)))) and ((((Springy)))) Awww. Poor pup. I hope it's just a odd injury, and he will be tip top in no time.
You'll have to remind him that he can't drink beer with the patch on.

You would freak out in my house!
My sis and I was putting up fake cobwebs for halloween. a bit later my dad says,"that spider looks so real" no clue what he is talking about. go over to investigate. Sho nuff, there is a gaint black spider stuck in our fake webs! can you image? a spider trapped by fake webs. is it wrong that i said we keep him there until after our party?

i will never be able to do an MRI - i get the vapours just thinking about it; that's how claustrophobic i am!
i was told that my train on Monday might be delayed by a couple of hours but that it would be running. when i got to the station, they said the tracks were still closed and they were sending us home by bus.
got home and the cable box wasn't happy AND the heat wasn't on!
yesterday we had a HUGE jury pool and problems with the court reporting equipment in the jury room. we had a dangerous offender hearing in another courtroom and heavy security because of a matter in relation to a biker trial in another.
today i learned that one of the regional senior justice's secretary took it upon herself to call my court locations demanding that they IMMEDIATELY send to her some data that isn't due until the 15th and that is supposed to come through me first. so i have been dealing with panicked calls today from staff wondering what is going on...
i NEED a drink!

*Gasp* The vapors!  I love that expression. Hopefully you will never need one, but if forced, they do have open faced MRI's.
Sleep did not happen today. I woke up every hour, on the hour. I eventually gave up at 2. It's going to be a long night.

They teaching rescheduled my kindergartners field trip go apple picking, 4 times because of bad weather. They even canceled it last Friday and if was nice out!
It was scheduled for today, but it was misty out, so I figured they'd cancel again. I put her in jeans and rainboots and a T-shirt and a sweatshirt. It was supposed to clear up.
They ended up going today and it rained all day! I didn't send her in a rain jacket or a hooded sweatshirt or anything! Poor thing got rained on all day! I feel so bad. I'm the worst parent.
Im so sick of this school.

I think I like spiders more than frogs...theres one on my house door. MAKE IT LEAVE. I can't go outside. I had to call my roommate to let me in the house. Luckily it didn't move. they're at work.
