Really beautiful shots RCC. You just prompted me to google recent parkway images and see how the fall colors are coming along. We are getting some changes at 2-3000 feet but I always look forward to seeing what will trickle down from the top.
Over the past couple weeks

We will be in full color soon!!!
*hopefully I will be able to break out the camera and get some good shots over the next 2 weekends. I'll be off, and we will be in the peak.

Thank you all for the pics of fall colors. No such thing here.

Pretty! We're hilly in Pittsburgh, but not mountainous. That's more middle PA.
The pics I took were with my phone. They can be hit or miss, but, when the light is right, it takes good pics. It was drizzly today, so I was (mostly) able to go without the Terminator shades I've been sporting this week.

The sun came out when we were done, so I just needed them in the car.

Mmm, rice pudding is almost done. Been slowly cooking since 6:30 or so. Lemon zest and nutmeg since vanilla beans are all across the street where the pastry department is.

I will be happy to share some more soon Juanab. I always take several pictures during the fall.
RCC, I noticed you said that you were somewhere near Jeepy. It is a very pretty area, and looks like a nice outing.
I'm fond of hills. I can climb those without collapsing when I reach the top I'm a mess when I have to walk home in the snow. Going down, not so bad. Going up, near death.
Love the terminator shades.

Jeep is about two hours north of me. The state park I visited is about halfway between us. I wasn't too far at all!

You are welcome!
Saria, I wanted to tell you that I loved all the shoes you posted yesterday, and I'm glad RCC enabled you. Those boots are glorious!
I also loved the link you shared. She dished it out.
Here we go again @ work. Fun times. I'm ready for this dark cloud to move along.

That's great. It really is beautiful, and the best time of year to enjoy a park, IMO.
I doubt I will make it on the parkway this year. It's too crowded right now I would love to get a few pictures from the highest elevations, where you see different counties and states, but people drive like maniacs on that road in October. I'll stick to more private locations.

Great pics, RCC! Where'd you go? My guess is Moraine.
I take I-76 each day to school, and it is seriously gorgeous this time of year! I'm loving it. I wish I could get some pics, but that's too dangerous.

The lake pic is Moraine. The rest are McConnell's Mill. Nice trails there along Slippery Rock Creek. The rocks really were slippery.

They are great pics. Love pics of hills and mountains. It is nothing but flatland here. Beautiful water and beaches, though.

Tasty, though I hadn't made it in such a long time that I forgot my ideal sugar to rice ratio. I did half the sugar to rice and remembered that I like my rice pudding at only 25% sugar to rice. Next time!
It was very quickly polished off by the staff though.
