Say It. I Dare You.

Are you serious?!?!?!?!?! My mother just took her last breath (which you didn't even bother to come up here) and she is still laying in the hospital bed and you are already fighting over the policy. I hate, hate, HATE you. I have never been so mad in my life
The lake pic is Moraine. The rest are McConnell's Mill. Nice trails there along Slippery Rock Creek. The rocks really were slippery.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I still can't get over how cold the water can be, even in August, in some locations. There is no need to turn blue on a 100 degree day.

Fifi, thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed the link as much as I did.

I just cleaned perhaps the most disgusting lowboy I have ever seen.
I started grill on Monday and gave it a cleaning like it probably hasn't seen in months, but I neglected to remove the pans in place. Well, tonight I did and the sight was horrifying. There was a bunch of asparagus collected down there, along with florets of brown broccoli. The dishwashers were in absolute awe of the filth and helped me remove the drawers and scrub with a Brillo pad. The drawers were run through the dishwashing machine. It's still not completely clean that's how filthy it was, but I was already an hour past my scheduled time (11 PM) trying to close down.
I just don't understand. I don't understand how anyone can work in a station like that. I don't understand how anyone could ever allow a station to get to that level of filth. It's completely unacceptable. Keeping your station clean is a part of your job! WTF?!
Oh my wordle, I'm such a mess. I'm trying to be calm and put out some positive energy so Calvin won't pick up on how much I'm spazzing out inside, but not sure I'm doing such a great job of that. I just want to help him yet I have no idea what the fudge to do for him.

Not to mention we have family visiting still and I'm trying to hold it together so they're not uncomfortable.

Y'all will have to forgive me for venting stuff here, but if I don't let it out I'm worried I'll break down in front of everyone and make a blithering ass of myself.

Just gotta remember to breathe.

Again Scrills, I can't even tell you how sorry I am. It's... There are no words for it. I will be sending many T&P's your way.

The vet said it could take 12 hours before it started working, which will be around 11 so I've got a little while longer to go before it kicks in if that's accurate. I was getting worried earlier that maybe he was having a bad reaction to it due to how he was acting even though it hasn't been 12 hours yet. It's all just so confusing because I feel I don't know the right things to do for him and what if I make a wrong choice. I could have given him another pain medicine while we were waiting on the patch to kick in, but it must be taken with food and he won't eat anything.

At least he's sleeping for the moment until everyone comes in from picking up our last house guest from the airport. Then he'll be all worked up and awake again...such bad timing to have company.

Sorry to run on about it, even if nobody reads it I think it helps for me to get it out.

I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

That's completely understandable. I'm a nervous furbie mom. I always worry about reactions and what is best to do when one of my animals is sick or hurt. I'll stay up all night watching them, as they occasionally eye me like, "wtf is your problem woman?"

Hopefully things will settle down, and the patch will kick in soon. Maybe he will feel like eating when he gets some relief.

Oh, scrills. I am so sorry. You are in my thoughts.
I wonder if one of my callers has a spare Xanax.

I wish people would start waving knives around at 2am. That would make me happy. I also wish newbies would ask me 20 questions on the way to the call instead of stfu and letting me do my job. I know what questions to ask, and you'll be the first to know once I get the answers. Just shhhhh, and floor it.

Im trying not to work rant as much but sometimes I can't help it. I finish the call and need to vent. I don't know why some can not understand that its hard for dispatchers to calm and speak to the caller, ask need to know questions, hear the answers, and pass along information to them WHILE they are loudly & continuously talking on the radio, and asking you every single question that you are already in the process of getting answers to. I love it when they finally relax and learn the way things flow. I promise I won't let them walk into a situation not knowing who has the weapon, what they are wearing, where they are, etc. Not if I can help it. I would rather everyone go home safely to their families.

Oh well. At least people are not sword fighting in the Kokopelli trailer park again. Things could always be worse.

I am so sorry scrills.
