These are my favorite trees. I found them a few years ago on my boyfriend's property and have so far taken pics of them in 7 different months of the year. The woods change so much during the year I sometimes have a hard time finding them. But Chon has owned the land for nearly 40 years and knows every twig so when I get lost he sends the dogs to come find me and then shows me yet again where 'my' trees are.
They are actually 1 trunk that splits off into 2 twin trees.
And yes, I have hugged them. : )

Hey, neat!

Last night as I was driving along, I noticed a house with a beautiful birch (my favorite) very dramatically lighted. I love all my pines and maples, but I wish I had a birch.

I want a birch! I miss them. Aspens are similar to me but not really the same thing and just make me miss birches even more.

And YAY for straightforward, businesslike doctors who respect patients as clients and don't try to affect bedside manner if they don't naturally tend that way! I wish I'd been by my phone so I could've thanked him for the message.

I've only gotten halfway down page 2821, but I need to get out of this thread and get to sleep. I can post before knowing everything that came before. Yes I CAN, Brain. Shut up. We have somewhere to be tomorrow. Sleep now.

I ended up re-watching the first episodes after reading your recap, and I pretty much never watch those.

I'm not surprised you like Katara, but it always warms my heart because in typical fashion, she gets a lot of fandom abuse. Shocker, the two brown leads in this universe get a lot of abuse.
Aang is mostly my least favorite character on this show (well, of the main characters), but he's still great and you reminded me of what a cute, fun, charming kid he is.

Glad you got a diagnosis and a good doctor!

I just walked into the family room and found one of those Wallflower air fresheners upside down in the outlet... Which means that the oil spilled all over the wood floor.

I get tired of being told that standing with my arms crossed shows a bad attitude, it's closed off, antagonistic blah blah blah.

Bollocks. I stand like that not because subconsciously I don't want people to approach me, but because it is comfortable. Clearly whoever came up with the 'hidden meaning' behind this posture has never had to lug around a large chest 24/7. Tugging my arms under my boobs gives them a bit of extra support that takes weight of my shoulders and back. I wear good fitted supportive bras that give me great shape but I still end up hunching over to compensate the weight so if I want to stand with my arms crossed to give my shoulders a break I DAMN WELL WILL.

WS, its a must And I just read your blog! I have never watched the show, but I'm still enjoying it.

I have this terrible fear that I will have to hang so many air fresheners in my car that will look like a scene from the movie Seven.

LadyV, that's not a bad thing at all. My co workers and I have often talked about throwing a large party if and when our collective nemesis leaves. Which might be soon, if rumors are true.

I can't sleep during the day anymore. I had only been asleep for 2 hours when my mom called about my dad. Every time I go to sleep during the day I dream about her phone call, or at least hear her screaming in my sleep. I also keep waking up thinking that something has happened to her. This has to stop at some point. I can't work night shifts like this.
