I'm not even in the mood to watch biden, can't let him see me like this.

I need a bucket of cheese balls and an extra thumb.

I managed to do a Katniss arena braid, and it made it through the day. Nice.

I'm never going to find I'm attracted to, am I?

This comes up because I'm supposed to be surrounded by the best and brightest but I cannot see myself with any of them.
Doesn't help that I am the second oldest person in my cohort.

(The poodle is here for another visit, and is worried as well.)
He's just extremely despondent and looks at us like he's incredibly confused and has no idea who we are, blank stares. I just felt in my gut I needed to get that thing off him. With past episodes of his back hurting he's certainly different in how he acts, but he's still Calvin and this time around it was different. I just felt something wasn't right. If he's not better at the 24 hour mark of removing it I'll call the vet. Right after we took it off he finally peed for the first time since yesterday morning (!!!) and he's pooped and finally ate something.

Thank y'all for being concerned about him.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Well, I've had 2 hours of sleep, one of my co workers had 3, and the other had 5. I hope people know that its not a good night to have an emergency.
For the four people on night duty at my hospital on any given night this amount of sleep would be pretty normal. How we function and don't kill anyone is beyond me. And when I do sleep I wake up with the headache from hell. Feel for you.

I spent an hour and twenty minutes in a Centrelink office today, waiting for an appointment that took roughly 1 1/2 minutes. Why do government depts always seem to be like this?

Hugs to Scrills, springy and Calvin.

You know what sucks? When you're hungry at 1:30am and your dad brought yummy tamales for you as a surprise while you were gone earlier but you're afraid to heat them up for fear of waking up SO who has to get up for work in 2 hours. He sleeps do lightly. And yes, I am sleeping on the couch again so as not to disturb him further. Is is Sat night yet? I want some cocktails and my bed!

It is amazing, isn't? Your brain gets used to it and your body slowly dies My normal is 4 to 5 hours on days. I function on nights much better, as a general rule. I typically get 6 hours!! This has me thrown. People are not meant to function well while working long hours, and swing/night shifts.

** When I'm on my last leg I think, at least in not pulling 24 to 48 hour shifts like EMS. :-/

Springy, I'm so glad Clavin finally ate

Everything that has been going on in my life, I can and will manage. The one thing I can not deal with is having I'd like to buy the world a coke stuck in my head.

Make it stop!!!

I think that too. this girl I study with was talking to me about this she was like, "most people are with someone right now, because usually during this point in college, you already have your boyfriend and you're kind of settled, and we missed that time period, so we're doomed to be cat ladies."

Oh well.
I mean I can't think of any other time I'm going to meet my future boo, I won't be leaving my house anyway (I won't be able to anyway since I'm going to try and gain 890 lbs, my new goal since I can't lose weight).
who cares everybody is just a bunch of hunks
