I have never been so happy for an experiment not to work.

I would have had to stay here until 5:00 (my 40 hours will be over at 3:00) waiting for this stupid dishwasher to run cycles. Now I am FREE at a normal time.

My experiments can be successful on Monday

Trying to make sense to someone who decides herself what "reality" is, is tiring.

GOod luck to her. I hope that she moves stuff home today. DOn't even pick me up! I'll walk home if it means you go home. All eleven miles. I cannot do this anymore with you. I seriously sometimes would rather just die in my sleep to continue to be in this toxic relationship.

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

Between this board and FB, I sometimes think I'm the only person who doesn't go to a gym. Briefly I think of the good it might do me, but then Ijust remember that going to a gym is the most colossal bore I can think of.
"Oh, I hate working with Tables,
Yes, I hate the way they don't work,
They keep me from doing what I'm able,
I think they make me seem like I shirk.

Tables: you suck!
Tables: you're bad luck!
Tables: you make me feel like a schmuck!
Tables: I've run amuck!"

Really?

Next time the Jehovah's Witness Church has a service, I'm going down there and beating on the door. Then I'm going to get in my car and blow the horn for awhile.

I ain't thirsty. There's plenty of fish in the sea, but I don't want all of them, can I have some standards? Or do we just have to settle, for someone's who meh and will do.

I didn't go to the gym either when I was most of you guys' age. But if I knew then what I know now (that no matter how skinny and healthy, bodies and metabolism and health change when you get older), I would have worked out at least a little.
I never set foot inside a gym til I was in my 50's. Now it makes me happy to go, but I know I don't need a gym to be healthy. I can work out at home or just walk, hike, bike, swim. It all works.

Now I can't go back to sleep. In all seriousness, I turn down my car stereo every single time I pass by a church (I'm a music blaster). It doesn't matter what church. If they are having service, I'm respectful. I even pull off the side of the road for funeral precessions, to show respect. Why can people not be respectful when they come to my house? Knock normally, if no one answers leave your pamphlets and drive away. It wont bother me. Please do not literally beat down my door, and honk your horn. I will in no way care what you have to say after that.

I've never had a gym membership. I had friends who belonged to a racket club. They used to give keys to the members and you could go in and night, swim, and use the hot tub. That was fun, but I have no urge to join a gym. I prefer to work out at home. I'll occasionally take a special dance/yoga class.

The gym is definitely not for me. I'm happy on my treadmill at home.

A little Calvin update, he got a good 3 hours of sleep last night before he woke me up whining. Mr. Spring took him out and he pooped/peed (yay!), but when he went back in his crate he started panting and shivering so hard he was rattling his crate. We put him in bed with us and he flopped over right next to me, still shivering, but about 45 minutes later he finally settled down and went to sleep. He had a small semblance of being himself when we were getting up because he gave me kisses after a few days of looking at me like he couldn't figure out who the hell I was. Progress, I hope. He still seems out of it, but he's using the bathroom and ate his breakfast and even drank quite a bit so I'll take it. I'm hoping as the day goes on he improves more. A tail wag would be nice. He did yelp a little when Mr. Spring picked him up to come inside, probably feeling the pain a little more since the pain patch medication is working it's way out of his system. This concerns me because in the past after the initial onset of the pain he's not yelped when we moved him so it seems this episode is worse than previous ones. I've got other pain medication to start him on though that he's taken with no problem in the past so hopefully that will help.

On a positive note my neighbor offered to sit with him tonight so I don't miss out on a play we have tickets to see. It would be nice to actually get out and do something with everyone while they're here, but I can't decide if I should go or not. At least staying home all day means I'll have dinner ready for everyone when they get back from their outing to a redwoods grove today.

Did I say little update? Sorry. Bored much...yes, I am.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I don't always go to the gym because I want to be there. I have to go because that, as well as diet, is one of the few ways I can keep my weight down and not get diabetes and high blood pressure like numerous people in my family. I didn't go to the gym or eat that well in my 20's either and I eventually paid for that since I was 226 pounds by the time I was 33. If I hadn't gone on a diet or started exercising 10 years ago, I'm sure I would have been diagnosed with diabetes and/or high blood pressure by now. I initially started exercising by doing tapes at home, but they eventually weren't enough for me. If you do the same video enough times, your body becomes efficient and you'll end up burning less calories. You can buy more tapes, but you'll just have the same issue and I don't have the space in my place to store them. So the gym it is.

I think you should go see your play, keep your phone handy (on vibrate) the neighbor can call you if there is an issue. It'll probably be good for Calvin, too - he's probably picking up on your stress and worry - he may just take a really long nap when the neighbor is there

Thank you for the encouragement and logical thinking which apparently I have none of right now.

i went to the gym with a friend once to keep her company. She rode the bike that didnt go any where and walked on the trendmill. Afterward. i suggested we can get bikes and ride some bike trails, and go for walks in the parks. She looked at me like i done lost my mond.
I managed to do a Katniss arena braid, and it made it through the day. Nice.
