Heh, I think that woman kind of looks like Speckla.
He can I possibly be feeling so much stress over such an unimportant decision??? Grow my hair out again or leave it short?

I'm so sick of October. I'm dying for it to be over already. We've had a party pretty much every single day this month, often multiple parties in one day. The parties will only get worse the closer we get to Halloween.
It's worse for me because I've started grill and I'm not the least bit comfortable working it yet (I can't get that all-important rhythm) and it doesn't help that the moment I get into work I have orders to make and can't even prep a damn thing other than party prep.
Yesterday was a party of 50. Here are the desserts for it on a table in the back:

yes, i follow the Twitter account of a fictional president of the US:

Josiah Bartlet ‏@Pres_Bartlet I love hearing Mitt Romney talk about his tax plan. I've always enjoyed fairy tales.

I side-eye the hell out of people who intend to vote for Romney and can't see them as anything but selfish people who don't care about anyone else. Sorry, not sorry.
I'm glad I decided to go as Katniss for Halloween. This jacket is a very practical outdoor jacket. Pockets, double layers, nice size hood, and some water resistance if the outer layer is worn. I needed a new hiking type of jacket, and this will work quite well.

I keep thinking it's her, but she says she wants the dress, so I don't know!

I've still never dressed up for Halloween. My friend says I should be Korra.
I'd need a wig, though, since I'd have to straighten my hair, which is far longer than Korra's. I could pull Katara off better than Korra really.
Christ Almighty, people, WTF is wrong with you?

The two worst things about Boston public transportation (aside from it not being available 24 hours) have to be the lack of express trains (because I swear I want to poke my eyes out whenever I take the green line), and the completely nonsensical lack of direct connection between north station and south station. Sigh.
Lol. I was in my short sleeved work shirt with a thin knit sweater over it and button up sweater over that. It's not quite time to break out the coats. Which reminds me, I need a new coat. I'm set on fall jackets and thinner dress coats, but my heavy coat is falling apart at the seams... literally.

Snow is great for the water levels, and for reducing the number of bugs, but I cant stand being stranded at or away from home. 2 years ago my parents couldn't leave their house for 18 days. I often have to spend 5 days away from home while working. Thank goodness I have family close that can check on and feed my cats, who are depressed and angry by day 2.

We are training a new guy this week and he is scared out of his mind. lol. That means he is right on track.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

And this is why I want/need a 4 wheeler!!! I have to depend on my cousins for snowy, and fun, rides up the mtn.

The only positive thing about cold weather is the number of coats I've collected from Nau that I love. I intend to get two more (plus the fall jackets on their way to me as we speak).
Hooray for cold weather!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
