How did I not feel that earthquake?! I feel like everyone did but me! I've always wanted to experience an earthquake. I'm bummed.

Don't be bummed. that crap is scary. Image it, you are at your desk at work when everything begins to shake. You live in a place that doesnt get earthquakes (at least to your knowledge) and there was a truck with explosives found outside the pentagon, a terrorist plot foiled, and you work in a crappy building. All these things run through your head. Your thoughts: "oh s***! I hope they find my body. By family is about to be rich! I have way too much insurance." Things fall now and you brace for the worse. Then it stops. Co-worker from the philippines comes out of the lab and says, "lets go, that was an earthquake!" your next thought: "We don't get earthquakes here! WTF?"

OMG. Making a family tree in word/powerpoint is quite possibly the most AGGRAVATING experience ever! I have to give a presentation on Monday for my Spanish class, and I'm never going to get this thing done at this rate. Ugh!
Why do my parents have so many fricking siblings?!

Iroc, I have experienced two earthquakes. One in Cali while on vacation. The other, in FL of all places. I was asleep both times and I awoke to my bed shaking. It feels really creepy to feel the ground move under you.

OMG my crabs are eating each other!
Okay, well obviously only one crab is eating the other...
I'm so disturbed by this. I tried 'helping' but now dead crab would not go into a shell (and did not look well when I found them), and murderous crab kept going back and attacking victim crab.
Oh the crab carnage!
I'm done with this ****. There will be no more reptiles, et al, in my future.

I felt the earthquake that hit the East coast a little over a year ago.
I was sitting on the beach. I thought at first that someone was standing behind me shaking my beach chair.
It was weird stuff.
On a separate note, spice flavored mixes of jelly beans/gumdrops/whatever are gross. I just got blindsided by cinnamon when I thought it would be cherry. Why would someone buy that nastiness when they could have the fruity ones? Then again, probably serves me right for partaking in the free candy at work.

Don't feel bad. I didn't feel it either. I thought maybe it didn't reach my area but my coworker lives down the cape and he felt it. I think I might have been driving at the time and maybe that's why I didn't feel it?

I want to mess around on the internet all afternoon....
But my thumbs hurt.
That's what I get for trying to break BOTH of them on Monday (I don't think I succeeded... but they are still very swollen and bruised).

Thank you for the compliments and the age breakdown! I've been wondering about the age difference between Katara and Aang since Aang's "You still are a kid!" line during penguin sledding. (And do I even need to say that I love the .gif at this point? They're always fabulous.)
Yeah, I don't get it either - it seems to depend on your dentist? I'm pretty sure that not being super good about wearing it during the "wear it every night" phase is the reason I still should be wearing it now...when I still am bad about it. I'm not sure how often I should have it in, but my dad likes to say that "retainers are forever" thing and it's weird to me because he had braces as I recall and he doesn't wear a retainer at night.
If I could just get those silly world leaders to understand that they're doing it all wrong...They're so stubborn.
Yay for your two days off! I hope you get them!

I think it depends on your teeth. If you feel your teeth move, wear your retainer more, (I would know becuase when I put my retainer in it would be really really tight) until your teeth fit back comfortably in the retainer. That's what I did, and I went to the dentist recently and he said that he was surprised my teeth have yet to move at all. Because I am a teeth boss, since I haven't been to the dentist in 4 years and my teeth are in pretty much perfectly good condition except I grind them really bad from nerves. I also broke my retainer trying to clean it, but since I'm getting a hxc mouth guard for grinding it also counts as a retainer. I still have the retainer for memories...
retainers are forever. LOL. As long as they fit in your mouth. When I finished mine up my 9th grade year of high school, the ortho said wear them once a week for the next year, and then after that do what you want. LOL. And that was that. and I never saw him again...

That moment when you have gone for 2 days on 4.5 hours of sleep and you are physically tired that you start shaking but are so hopped on caffeine that your brain won't quit and have a 12 page assignment due tomorrow but you're only on page 4, you also have a "job" interview with the faculty office, and you realise you're crushing on a classmate with whom it's never gonna work may be referred to as grad school moment number 654. When will it END?!
As for my Macroeconomics exam, I have placed it under the category of "things of which we shall never speak." Yay.
Saria: FB message sending now.
