I don't know what Trending Topics are. Is that something here? If so, thank goodness I can't see them. The Curly Guru thing is making me stay away from here more and more all the time. Another annoying thing would be a nail in the coffin.

Trending topics does not work for me. I see the box, but it is always blank. If I figure out why, I'll happily share.
This site is turning into a women's magazine. I find that stuff to be highly offensive. I come here for the conversation, not to be bombarded with celebrity gossip,and articles telling me what I "need" to fix or buy to be acceptable. Even though I'm not getting all of it, I don't feel right about visiting a site that promotes those ideas. If this doesn't change soon, I'm probably going to leave for good.

Since nc.com was sold to texture media the place has gone down hill.
Adverts have increased, ignoring the posters has increased, that thing we cannot mention has increased.
The place seems to be driving away a lot of its original posters and that's really sad. I have learned so much from the boards and posters, stuff I never even thought about or considered and now it's the same stuff over and over because people are leaving.
If they keep driving people away texture media won't be making any money and all their jiggery pokery of the site and boards will have been for nothing.

I think they'd get enough new people that they don't care about alienating current members. Catering to the lowest common denominator is a good way to make money. I mean, Cosmo still sells, so...

I have no idea what the meth house looks like. I can't see it from my house at all, but I can hear them. They are actually off another road. When i heard about the bust I looked it up on a map and saw that the house was in the exact same location that I hear the shots coming from. Yippie! This is probably what they look like

Yes, it's the same lady. That rapid age progression, thanks to meth, photo creeps me out! It is disgusting what that drug can do to the human body. I think the photos of that woman were taken over a ten year period.?. Maybe.

I have a retail interview Friday, a job interview in the city on Monday and a really nice and helpful temp agency lady who gave me cookies and a very nice pep talk. Also could still hear back from other interviews I went on.
I have fall back plans and will not end -up totally broke.

I love how most pictures of labs have a visible Mtn Dew bottle. Crack/cocaine of soda must be present.
I've seen actual photos from local labs. That is as close as I get. They do not involve my department in things like that, and I am glad they don't. It is seriously messed up.
