twice in one day I was attacked by the same ALBINO spider in my car. AND IT'S HUGE. omg wtf.

First getting out the car for work it ran by my door panel on the inside I threw my work cup at it, hoping it was on my work cup which rolled away (I didn't bother checking I was too disturbed) get home, and I see in the darkness of my car a shadow on my sunglasses case, I turn on the car light THERE IT IS. WTF. ugggh so this time I threw my hello kitty tumbler at it I think I hit, I EFFING HOPE SO. GO AWAY NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE.

My hk tumbler is scratched to death as I kicked it down the curb to make sure there was no spider on it before I picked it up.

Guess I'll never get in my car again, maybe I'll walk to the store for bug spray and.....just light my car on fire. Who needs it. I need a new whip anyway.

I'm shaken.

now I have no cup for work and a devil monster in my car. running rampant

I will come take care of that spider for you. They run in terror when they hear my name....
She had a nasty splinter. Part of it was still in her paw, but it was hard to see. They got it out, she bled so much and rather than cauterizing the wound he (a guy standing in for my normal vet) wrapped a bandage around it. Well, the sticky part he put around the top just worked it's way up her arm. I had to remove it, she almost removed my face, and that part of the bandage removed part of her fur. She is normally so nice, but does not do well when I play doctor. At some point I have to remove the rest of this bandage. She is too antsy and jumping on and off things non stop, but I am sure she will try to kill me when I do.

Her brother who has never hissed in his life is now terrified of me, growling and hissing at me.

She is hurting (and says thanks for the luvz). I think she is finally drifting off. It would help if I quit checking on her every 2 minutes and let her nap.

She'll be happier after she sleeps. It's hard to not check on our fur babies. I have to fight myself to not do that to my poor kitty right now. He hurt his leg and I keep wanting to palpitate it to see what's wrong. Well, it's hurting and poking it makes it hurt worse. I don't know what he did but he's only limping a little but can jump and run ok...

Does it have to come off tonight? Chances are she might try to remove it herself and make it looser. It might come off easier tomorrow. Or you could try wrapping her in a towel and leave the leg sticking out. It'll keep her from scratching you....
Wasn't there a thread about pet insurance? Could someone bump it for me? I can't find it.

And I already have a towel out for the next round I know she will be much happier when it's off.

I think my cat has started the time change early. She is wanting to go outside all crazy hours lately. She's always awaited by the front door to be let out right after sunrise and is waited on the patio to come in right after sunset.

She is meowing her head off to go outside. Um, no way kitty. It's too dark and there's too many night animals outside. You're safer inside.
Today was a perfect perfect fall day. It smelled so good I could hardly stand it. Warm and sunny with a tiny breeze. Flip flop weather!
Took a walk around the block during lunch (pic #1, the courthouse and some of the churches right by my office, and some little kids out in their costumes). Then after work I took a long hike in the woods (pic #2). Most of the leaves are down but was still beautiful out.

I was excited about my period yesterday, right?

Um, forget whatever I said. I want to die.

I think I'm going to go take like 5 more ibuprofen.

My cat successfully removed half her bandage, and I did the rest!! She is exhausted and still hurting, but not so evil. She should completely forgive mean mommy in a day or two.

Speck, I hope your cats leg get better soon. It is hard to not pick.

Murrcat, I hope you sweated out the fever, feel better, and killed the albino spider from hell.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
