So apparently the government doesn't recognize lost or stolen pills.

Meaning I can't fill my prescription until I am technically due for a refill.

So because I lost 3 weeks worth when the cap came off in my bag and I threw the bag out without knowing I am SOL.

And thank you socially incompetent pharmacist for having no compassion and treating me like a junkie. I wanted to ream you out on the spot.

Nej, I can sympathize. I had to go through the same thing. But you have to look at it from their prospective as well. They hear "my pill were stolen or I accidentally threw them out" line all the time, from people who are pill junkies (you certainly aren't). Pill junkies don't always look like crackheads. Pill junkies from all socioeconomic levels.

The insensitive pharmacist, needs to get another job. Compassion should be top of list in job requirements for that position.

In reality, I don't think they are. But I believe our 24/7 news frenzy society makes crimes and child abductions much more widely known than they did in the 70s and 80s and partially into the 90s.

Therefore, you have parents who are far more paranoid than our (well, my) parents were. And I'm not blaming parents for this. I'm sure I would be too if I had kids!
